"Good but expensive"

What do you like best?

Radmin, one of the best tools for remote access to the desktop of our computers. A much more complete and powerful application than the traditional Windows remote desktop.

Radmin is one of the most secure, powerful, fast and easy to use remote access applications. With it, we will have full control of the remote computer and for example, we can transfer files to and from the remote computer or even communicate with the user of that equipment through multiuser or voice text chat.

In recent years, Radmin has earned an excellent reputation in the business sector. That a technician can solve problems remotely as if he were in front of them is fundamental.

All transmitted data, screen images, mouse movements, keystrokes and audio transfers are encrypted and can not be intercepted. I have tried several tools of this type and compared with them, Radmin is faster and more stable.

Its operation is quite simple. Any user with a minimum knowledge of how to use their computer will be very quick with it. Radmin consists of two modules: Viewer and Server. The Viewer module will be installed on the computer from which we wish to remotely access the other equipment. The Server module we have to install it on all those computers that we want to access.

What do you dislike?

As a negative point, it should be noted that although it has a licensing system for groups of machines and even corporate licenses, Radmin is considerably more expensive than other alternatives.

Recommendations to others considering the product

As I mentioned in previous paragraphs, radmin is a very complete software for remote control, however its use is diminished because in the market we have options or cheaper or free and that in this way they position themselves better than radmin currently

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Currently I no longer use radmin because I prefer the use of teamviewer since it is better and cheaper

"Works only for windows clients"

What do you like best?

It can be a little more user friendly than team viewer or vnc. You get more of the display themes when remoting into the end user's computer. You can also transfer files from one computer to another fairly easily.

What do you dislike?

It has a problem when dealing with network configurations on internal network connections. It also could use some support when trying to send commands to a computer. It also doesn't support any other operating systems like Mac OS. They could also use better licensing so when a client is decommissioned, the seat it was taking is returned.

Recommendations to others considering the product

There are a couple of other options, but Teamviewer is fairly easy to set-up on a windows network.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

remoting into the end user machine to see what they see and remote into the machine to remotely troubleshoot problems.

What Remote Support solution do you use?

Thanks for letting us know!

"Clean interface, does the job well"

What do you like best?

The tool is very easy to use, and a very clean , minimalist gui. It stores my information from previous visits, so I do not have to re-type it each time

What do you dislike?

So far, for what I use it for, I have zero complaints. Some might think the interface is not modern, but I think it looks fine and prefer these older style interfaces.

Recommendations to others considering the product

it seems to work great!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I use it primarily to access a virtual computer setup for a specific software package. This allows us to have many users who can use the same software package
