## About Qbilon
Qbilon is an Enterprise Architecture and IT Landscape Intelligence platform that automatically discovers, maps, and visualizes complex IT environments. By collecting and integrating data from cloud, infrastructure, monitoring, and security systems, Qbilon creates a continuously updated inventory of applications, servers, services, and their dependencies. Organizations use Qbilon to gain transparency across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, understand application and infrastructure dependencies, and maintain accurate IT landscape data without manual documentation. The platform helps Enterprise Architecture, IT Operations, and CMDB teams make better decisions based on reliable, real-time information. Qbilon integrates with leading enterprise systems and data sources, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), VMware, Darktrace, PRTG, and ServiceNow. Automated dependency mapping and powerful visualizations provide a unified view of the IT landscape and support initiatives such as CMDB management, cloud transformation, IT modernization, technology risk assessment, and operational excellence. With a high degree of automation, Qbilon reduces manual effort, improves data quality, and enables organizations to optimize and govern their IT architectures more effectively.

## Qbilon Reviews
  ### 1. Qbilon provides the central overview of our IT assets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrik P. | IT Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Qbilon?**

We have been using Qbilon for some time and have witnessed firsthand how the product has rapidly evolved. Over the period of more than a year, the UI and UX have fundamentally changed from version 2 to version 3; it is clearer, richer in features, and appears significantly more mature.

Starting with the integrated connectors: We were able to build a solid data base from our infrastructure and import important information from our existing EAM system LUY. If no connector was available for a specific system, the connection could be developed very easily and straightforwardly via Qbilon's API.

Although we already had various monitoring systems and tools with inventory functions, there was never a central place where one could clearly say: "Now I have a complete picture of this system." This is exactly what Qbilon offers us.

It also happens that individual systems provide faulty information. With Qbilon, such inconsistencies are easily recognizable. The new consolidation task allows me to determine which data source I trust more. For example, I can define that my hypervisor always provides the authoritative data regarding IP addresses, so that this value is displayed even if PRTG reports a different value.

With careful planning and implementation, Qbilon is a very powerful system for creating a multi-layered overview of IT assets. The new global asset search, for example, is nowadays my first point of contact when I need information about a system.

The views that can be created in Qbilon are also extremely helpful for preparing data visually or in tabular form. Especially during audits, a neatly prepared Qbilon table, directly exported to Excel, is a really practical thing.

**What do you dislike about Qbilon?**

At the beginning, I indeed had concerns regarding the UX and a then limited number of data processing functions. However, these points have been completely resolved over time. The team is very responsive to feedback. UX and UI improvements that I had suggested were promptly implemented. My concerns regarding the consolidation and cleaning of properties in workflows were also implemented within half a year.

At this point, I honestly find it difficult to express criticism; the team has simply addressed all my concerns.

**What problems is Qbilon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Qbilon, we used the EAM system LUY to document our infrastructure; a system that proved to be labor-intensive in maintenance and whose advanced functions were hardly used. Qbilon now offers us a central place for this manually maintained data, which is continuously updated by automatically obtained real-time data. This reduces the manual maintenance effort to merely recording descriptions.

  ### 2. An enormous relief for IT managers, operationally and strategically

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olaf K. | Head of IT, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Qbilon?**

I already knew QBilon when it was still an idea and not yet a product, because I was enthusiastic about the approach of an independently documenting IT landscape. If I remember correctly, we were the first customer to sign a maintenance contract in Germany and since the introduction of QBilon, the documentation effort for enterprise architecture management has been massively reduced for us. Anyone who has ever worked in administration knows that hardly any administrator likes to document, so QBilon is indeed a blessing and helpful both for complex changes to the IT infrastructure and for troubleshooting along dependency paths.
Long story short, I wouldn't want to do without QBilon as a strategic tool.

**What do you dislike about Qbilon?**

That it was not developed earlier. :-) I started using EAM tools 20 years ago and it was always difficult to motivate the team to achieve a reasonable data quality. And without this, EAM is nearly useless.

**What problems is Qbilon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QBilon helps us to manage the IT landscape professionally, to plan strategic changes properly and to recognise dependencies very quickly in the event of an error. Every auditor I have shown QBilon to so far has been enthusiastic, as working with the tool shows that the planning of the IT development plan really is not left to chance and that a goal is being pursued.

  ### 3. Comprehensive and up-to-date IT inventory

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Salescode S. | Sales Management, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Qbilon?**

Qbilon has transformed our IT inventory management by providing deep insights into our complex IT environment, enabling data-driven decisions and process optimization through seamless integration with our hybrid infrastructure and highly flexible analytics features.

**What do you dislike about Qbilon?**

That Qbilon did not get launched sooner. :)

**What problems is Qbilon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a company, we had trouble managing our IT inventory across different systems. This led to inefficiencies and lack of overview (outdated info, shadow IT …). Qbilon has helped us by integrating with our IT systems, allowing us to see our entire IT inventory. Its features like showing asset dependencies and automatically keeping the inventory up-to-date ensures that we have reliable information, making it easier to manage our IT assets.
