They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about Procare Solutions?** I can print my own receipt for the payments I make each month. **What do you dislike about Procare Solutions?** Even with a DEBIT card, Procare charges a 2% transaction fee. Can't set up an autodraft from the parent portal and therefore can't set the date of when you would like an autodraft to be completed. No support resources from the parent portal. The parent portal is VERY basic and there isn't much functionality. We can't add or remove contacts; I guess the daycare center has to do that. **Recommendations to others considering Procare Solutions:** Look at something else. **What problems is Procare Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not many, hence the 0 star review. It's easy to maneuver around and easy to teach others to use as well. Our company switched over to this program over a year ago and using it has never been an issue for me! **What do you dislike about Procare Solutions?** Sometimes I will get confused when looking for forms, so I need to remember to switch from family account back over to employee accounts. I would like to see improvements during the day procare often does maintenance, and I have to wait to log back on. I wish it would not completely log me out if I step away, but I understand because of the accounts and privacy. **What problems is Procare Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** I don't have any problems with procare. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about Procare Solutions?** ProCare makes it easy to maintain records of payment, communication logs, and ledgers. **What do you dislike about Procare Solutions?** Procare logs out very quickly when inactive. It's a pain to have to log back in multiple times a day. Procare is also not very parent-friendly. Parents in our program have had lots of trouble logging in, seeing their billing statements, etc. We ultimately decided to switch to Sandbox as it's simple to use for the company and the parent and does the same work more efficiently. Sandbox also provides an app and minimizes paperwork. **Recommendations to others considering Procare Solutions:** ProCare puts a lot of necessary information in one spot so it's easier to access childcare information and payment histories, however, it is not user or parent-friendly and takes a lot of training and digging to understand. **What problems is Procare Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** ProCare is helping us keep a record of payments and child information. There are many wonderful features, but the setup is simple, making it easy to decipher. They also have helpful tools. **What do you dislike about Procare Solutions?** It would be nice to be able to create reports that gather specific information that I need. There are many easy to use reports, but I would like to be able to create a single report with all of the information I need. **What problems is Procare Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy communication with parents! We are able to send them a message through Procare that not only notifies them through their Procare app, but also sends a text message! The interface is so user friendly and way less buggy then all the ones ive used in the past. I have to switch back and forth between a child's accounting and personal info. I don't like that I can't get a revenue summary report at month end showing how much went into various categories like staff child credit/sibling discount, etc. Having to pay $1/ACH transaction submitted by parent adds an additional $100/month. **What problems is Procare Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am not solving anything with Procare. I was used to another program and I couldn't quite get the hang of Procare. You were not able to send group emails to parents and we needed that feature. **Recommendations to others considering Procare Solutions:** It is a good program, it just needs a few adjustments to be what we needed. We needed to be able to reach out to a group of parents at a time and were not able to do this. The child's profile was easy to navigate and edit, both on the admin side and the parent side. The billing process was simple and separated parents are able to be billed separately which was a huge plus on the admin side for our program. I also really appreciated how quickly the staff at Sandbox got back to us when we would ask a question. I also really appreciated how emailing the parents was so easy using Sandbox! I enjoyed Sandbox having the different reports available to be printed so we could track attendance both on paper and the app. The reports also helped out the our team because they were able to give us a projection of the students that we would be receiving within the week. **What do you dislike about Procare Solutions?** I would say the downside of Sandbox was the app. The app was a little slow. I also think that Sandbox could improve how subsidy is tracked on the website. I am not sure if it was just me who wasn't able to notice if this was correct, but when my program would receive payments from CCRC and they were inputted - I would not see the subsidy payments affect the total revenue. I also found it difficult that when needing to update more than one of the classroom in the program via the website, it did not allow you check all of the rooms that were in the program. The only way I was able to update all classrooms at the same time was doing it via the Sandbox app on my phone. **What problems is Procare Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sandbox has made it easy to communicate with parents about what is going on in the program and has also made it easy to track payments that are not subsidy payments. Anytime we have an issue or question about how to use a particular feature, the customer service is immediately available to help. They even take the time to submit requests to their programmers if they hear that a particular feature would be helpful for our center. We also have many parents who enjoy the parent portal for billing. **What do you dislike about Procare Solutions?** We would love for their teacher app to be a little bit different. We haven’t been able to use that because of some features we need that aren’t there yet. **Recommendations to others considering Procare Solutions:** Utilize their support team. If it can be done they will help you find a way. Use the parent portal right for the beginning. Sandbox is an intuitive, user-friendly system that keeps details well-organized and easy to find. Their support team is friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. Sandbox has taken so much of the stress out of invoicing, billing & tracking enrollments, immunizations & allergies. Within months I found I was able to navigate the software to the point of being able to build forms, generate enrollments & reports and invoice and bill families with ease & confidence. **What do you dislike about Procare Solutions?** There is room for improvement in regards to their billing reports, however the Sandbox team has been very responsive to feedback and problem-solving and continually improves their systems. **What problems is Procare Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sandbox has made it easy to link families with multiple children together to make billing even easier. It's much easier to track billing or enrollment issues (than with previous software solutions) thanks to this feature. Being able to invoice & bill all families at once has been a lifesaver. They are quick and efficient! The software itself is logical and intuitive. I was with a software that was rigid and Sandbox is the complete opposite, the team is not afraid to adapt to our needs. We did a lot of research before choosing Sandbox. **What problems is Procare Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** I find it much simpler to look up immunization records on Sandbox than having to pull a child's file. As the software was new to us last year there were man things we needed to learn about it. Anytime a question came up we were promptly hooked into a chat with a representative who was always successful with assistance. The software makes it very easy to open up registration on line, accept payments, develop invoices and print out a variety of reports at will. **What do you dislike about Procare Solutions?** The two things that I noted in the last survey from Sandbox is that when invoices print out, charges are not in order by date. Rather they randomly show up on the invoices. The only other problem I noted was that our tax ID did not show up on tax receipts that I printed out for parents. I personally enjoyed that all of the student's information could be kept in one secure place online. It helped when we needed to get a hold of parents about payments of if we simply had a question. I love that we could allow access to as many or as little campuses or student data as well. I was traveling from each campus teaching Procare to other site coordinators but I could access it all through my own account because I could be given access to as many or as few sites I needed to be given access. **What do you dislike about Procare Solutions?** The interface was definitely something that you had to become accustomed to especially when it came to taking the money and making sure that accounts were charged correctly. It was cumbersome at times to go back and update accounts from the past, which is to be expected but I felt there were ways that could add to the program to make that more user friendly and faster. **Recommendations to others considering Procare Solutions:** I really liked this program because of the streamlining element. In childcare, it's so important to have all that information at your fingertips simply because inevitably you will need it. We also printed off each child's information, loved that feature, and kept that with us as well as had the program downloaded on laptops just in case we had to access it because of an emergency and we were not on our campus at our main workstation. It helps to keep track of families and students, financials, employees, and attendance. Procare allows a bunch of different ways to customize the software so that it works best for your company. You can create your own categories, tracking assignments, etc. The reports feature allows you to easily print or save statements for customers. The Procare Dashboard is a great feature where you can see a real time view of the business. You can see which students are checked in, which employees are checked in, how many kids are in each classroom, and so much more! **What do you dislike about Procare Solutions?** The reports feature could use some work. It would be nice to be able to create custom reports. It can be difficult to find the right report at times, also. **Recommendations to others considering Procare Solutions:** Procare is an amazing product and I strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a child development software! This has been a great success for us. It is so much easier to use Procare to track students than relying on paper files. We still use our QuickBooks program for a lot of our financials but Procare's ledgers are perfect for tracking what each family owes and collecting payment. Our families love that they can pay at kiosks in the hallway or from their own computer. This transition to Procare has made EVERYONE'S life easier!
