ProBackup Reviews & Product Details

I moved from a solution that just offered Notion backup to ProBackup. Since I back up three services, it's more cost-effective, and it's just so hands-off. Honestly, I don't want to have to think about my backups unless I need them, and that's what ProBackup offers.

In my research, I found that most solutions cost around $10/month per app being backed up, so if you use at least three a month, it will more than pay for itself. In addition, having everything in a single interface makes things so much easier. In addition, some of those $10/month services didn't backup daily, so ProBackup is superior in that it does.

Setup was easy. It took as long as you'd expect with giving a third-party program access to secure services, but everything went smoothly and I had things implemented and completely ready to go in less than an hour.

Note that my business is.... me. I'm using it to backup my writing business's Google Workspace, my personal Notion, and my personal Github. I can't speak to how it works for a larger company, but I can tell you that if I was looking for a solution for a larger company, I'd definitely look at ProBackup first just because of the good experience I've had so far.

It's hard to write a review on something that just works right (although I seem to have managed with no problem). I have a ton of things that require my attention on a daily basis. ProBackup doesn't. It's just my safety net there if I need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are two categories of people: those who don't back up yet and those who already do. It's an old but true joke.

I really don't like the fact that most cloud services don't care about user-level backups. Accidentally deleted your data? - That's your problem. A disgruntled employee deleted a bunch of customer data before firing you? - That's your problem. Something went wrong while debugging the script and accidentally messed up a bunch of records? - That's your problem.

Being able to always recover corrupted data is very, very, very important. And it's great that I found ProBackup, which saves all our records and files to Asana in the background. I can see the current status, when and what data is saved, and a simple and straightforward way to recover it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Couldn't find how to change the avatar and username :)) I have not yet encountered any problems with this service. I hope very much that they will not be in the future. Maybe it would be nice to have a preview of the files in the "Attachments" section. We have a lot of pictures and if I wanted to find the right one, it could come in handy. I accidentally deleted the Contabilità app on Podio, erasing a crucial financial history from 2014 to today, along with connections to other Podio apps managing thousands of products. Thankfully, with Pro Backup, I was able to restore the app. Their technical support was outstanding, guiding me meticulously through the process via email and video calls until complete success.
