I really value the fact that I could set up a reverse for the data I archived. For every job I created to archive data, I also set up a reverse so I could restore that same data again if needed. In previous projects I worked on without Precision Bridge, I found that other software either pays little attention to the restoration process or treats it as something to handle after the fact. With projects like this, when restoration is designed later, you either have to go back through your archiving work to figure out what you did, or the restoration setup ends up not nearly as solid as the original archiving configuration. Precision Bridge helped me handle both at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Precision Bridge requires a client-based installation on a server that I had to provision myself. While I did have the flexibility to choose the server operating system, I would have preferred a more cloud-based solution instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
