"Percussion CM1 is great"
What do you like best about Percussion CM1?

Percussion CM1 offers software to use despite a minor issues. It allows customization of coding using languages like JAVA,.NET or C++. Although there can sometimes be problems with saving data and restarting the software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Percussion CM1?

The platform lacks features and falls behind industry trends. And there is a learning curve that requires coding expertise. Given its operation size it is unlikely that the platform will see improvements in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Needs to improve its UI a lot."
What do you like best about Percussion CM1?

Its interface is pretty easy to teach others know are expert or novice about creating and maintaining websites, also offers a user-friendly tutorial for those who want to be an expert on Percussion CM1. Support team is attentive and kind with your requests and also they're available whenever you need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Percussion CM1?

Platform is almost outdated at all. For coding part this software isn't the best partner to work with, you need to do the dirty work of doing the coding by yourself using JAVA or .NET, sometimes C++. Sometimes things stop working suddenly and you won't be able to save data if you want to restart the software again. But overall this is a great software to use. "Percussion is a CMS Nightmare"
What do you like best about Percussion CM1?

The support team is incredibly attentive and helpful. They are available at any time and are very knowledgable - there has never been a time where we have had an issue go unresolved with their assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Percussion CM1?

Most everything about the platform. 1. It is outdated. 2. It is not user-friendly unless you know coding (and even if you know coding, good luck). 3. Things stop working or break all the time for us and we constantly have to submit tickets for fixes. 4. Very limited functionality across the board. 5. They are a smaller company with limited clients, so the likelihood that you will hire someone with experience in the platform is not going to happen. 5. We have to freelance most of the work we do beyond small edits because updating anything must be done on the back-end. Thankfully we found a great freelancer (who used to work at Percussion). 6. Even those with years of CMS experience will likely struggle in this platform. 7. HORRIBLE ON MOBILE. NOT MOBILE FRIENDLY AT ALL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use "
What do you like best about Percussion CM1?

The interface is easy to teach others who might not know anything about creating and maintaining webpages Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Percussion CM1?

It can be finicky in that changes don’t always save when publishing and I’ve received errors with no information to help fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Decoupled Drupal, also known as headless Drupal, is an architectural approach that separates Drupal's backend content management system from its frontend presentation layer. This separation allows developers to use Drupal as a robust content repository while building dynamic, interactive frontends with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular. By decoupling, organizations can deliver content seamlessly across multiple channels, including websites, mobile applications, and IoT devices. Key Features and Functionality: - Content API: Drupal provides APIs such as JSON:API and GraphQL, enabling efficient content retrieval and manipulation for frontend applications. - Frontend Flexibility: Developers can choose any frontend technology, allowing for the creation of highly interactive and customized user interfaces. - Omnichannel Delivery: Content can be distributed across various platforms, ensuring a consistent user experience on web, mobile, and other digital channels. - Performance Optimization: Decoupled architectures can enhance performance by leveraging client-side rendering and integrating with content delivery networks (CDNs) for faster content delivery. - Scalability: The separation of concerns allows for independent scaling of the backend and frontend, accommodating growing user demands and traffic. Primary Value and Solutions Provided: Decoupled Drupal empowers organizations to future-proof their digital presence by enabling design refreshes without overhauling the entire CMS. It facilitates the delivery of content across multiple devices and platforms, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience. By leveraging Drupal's built-in caching and rendering technologies, decoupled architectures can achieve faster content delivery, enhancing overall site performance. This approach also allows development teams to work in parallel, with frontend and backend developers focusing on their respective areas, leading to more efficient development cycles and quicker time-to-market for new features.
