It allows customization of coding using languages like JAVA,.NET or C++. Although there can sometimes be problems with saving data and restarting the software **What do you dislike about Percussion CM1?** The platform lacks features and falls behind industry trends. And there is a learning curve that requires coding expertise. Given its operation size it is unlikely that the platform will see improvements in the future. **What problems is Percussion CM1 solving and how is that benefiting you?** By saving time and resources it enables us to focus on creating and publishing high quality content. ### 2. Support team is attentive and kind with your requests and also they're available whenever you need them. **What do you dislike about Percussion CM1?** Platform is almost outdated at all. For coding part this software isn't the best partner to work with, you need to do the dirty work of doing the coding by yourself using JAVA or .NET, sometimes C++. Sometimes things stop working suddenly and you won't be able to save data if you want to restart the software again. But overall this is a great software to use. **Recommendations to others considering Percussion CM1:** For short term solutions and few websites to monitor and create, Percussion CM1 is the right one for you. If you're looking for something better and long lasting, don't consider this software, like I said, it's only for short term projects or few websites and I highly recommend it for this particular subject. **What problems is Percussion CM1 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Percussion is really different because allow multiple departments and peers to handle their own webpages and that makes it pretty easy to use and update data at the same time. And also is able to host a website for several countries you or your company operate in with basic functions like limit users capabilities with the approval functionality. ### 3. They are available at any time and are very knowledgable - there has never been a time where we have had an issue go unresolved with their assistance. **What do you dislike about Percussion CM1?** Most everything about the platform. 1. It is outdated. 2. It is not user-friendly unless you know coding (and even if you know coding, good luck). 3. Things stop working or break all the time for us and we constantly have to submit tickets for fixes. 4. Very limited functionality across the board. 5. They are a smaller company with limited clients, so the likelihood that you will hire someone with experience in the platform is not going to happen. 5. We have to freelance most of the work we do beyond small edits because updating anything must be done on the back-end. Thankfully we found a great freelancer (who used to work at Percussion). 6. Even those with years of CMS experience will likely struggle in this platform. 7. HORRIBLE ON MOBILE. NOT MOBILE FRIENDLY AT ALL. **Recommendations to others considering Percussion CM1:** I hate to leave a negative review, but I would not recommend this platform to my worst enemy. If you are considering a CMS, do not consider Percussion. It might be a fine solution for you in the short term (after taking the time/headache to learn the platform - and if the person utilizing it has a background in coding), but long term, the functionality is not there. The platform simply is not up-to-date with current trends and with them being such a small operation, I don't foresee that changing (and we've had the platform for 5+ years). **What problems is Percussion CM1 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to host a website for several countries we operate in. Being a global company, it is nice to be able to limit users' capabilities with the approval functionality - this allows our corporate office team to be able to review work before publishing. ### 4.
