"Powerful Cloud-Based PDF Management with Robust Features"
5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

I love the fact that pdfFiller is cloud-based, allowing access anywhere, which really suits my needs. It has very powerful features, especially the robust electronic signature feature, which I find incredibly useful. I appreciate how easy it is to collaborate with my team members within the same organization. The platform even allows separate sections for personal files and teammates, providing a secure and personalized experience. The initial setup was very easy and straightforward, with plenty of tutorials available to help get started quickly. I also enjoy the integration capabilities with Google Drive and other applications, which work quite well for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

The only thing is just the desktop app experience. Many people still would like to have a desktop app. So that's just the only thing. Aside from that, Cloud Volley still works for me. But the desktop app would also be nice to have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rina P. of pdfFiller

Many thanks for such a detailed feedback, David! Glad to hear cloud-based PDF management is running smoothly for you!

Regarding the dislike part though: we do have a desktop version, actually. For both Windows and Mac.

However, if you are already using an integration with Google Drive (and maybe also our mobile app as well?), switching between the two might become problematic.

If you have more than one accounts in your organizations though, we can surely move ahead and make one of those desktop.

Will that help? Please email us if you are interested. It's support@pdffiller.com.

"Versatile Tool That Transformed Our Document Workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

I love how easy pdfFiller is to use. It's intuitive and simple, even for someone who's not the most tech-savvy. I work with people who are even less tech-savvy, and they find it easy to navigate too. The instructions are simple, so I don't need to guide anyone through it. It’s simple to use but complex enough to handle a variety of tasks thoroughly. It helps me get everything I need completed. Once I've set things up, I don't have to revisit them repeatedly, which saves me time. It's also easy to delegate tasks to others without having to provide step-by-step guidance, making it quite efficient for my needs. Additionally, the fact that pdfFiller has templates built in was incredible when I needed to fill out tax forms—I didn't need to hire an accountant as pdfFiller provided everything I needed. It's been great, really. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

If I had one opportunity, I think the interface, the UI, the interface. It can be, you know, I'm not saying it's not simple and it's easy to use, but just the interface could be a little more slick, a little more streamlined, I suppose. Some just maybe some of the menus could be paired down or simplified a little bit, but you know, I'm really stretching at this point. Like, I'm really looking for things to comment on and having a hard time coming up the one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Contract Creation with Ease"
5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

I like pdfFiller because it's just a click away, and it takes just a handful of clicks to create my completely filled-out forms with fillable fields. It's very easy and streamlines my process, making my clients happy as they can fill out and sign electronically. I also appreciate the speed of the support team; they responded very quickly within a day and helped me sort out my issue. I like the product itself because of how quickly I can fill out an agreement and create a fillable document. The initial setup was quite easy; I just visited the site, created my account quickly, and started dragging in documents. The drag-and-drop system is simple, and it's very user-friendly. It's great because it does exactly what I needed at a great price compared to other products that were too expensive and had features I didn't need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless PDF Management and IRS Submission"
5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

I use pdfFiller for tax forms and editing PDFs for our business. It's great for easy submission to the IRS and lets me type where I need to. I love the ability to move pages around, delete them, and combine documents easily. The ease of use is fantastic, and I appreciate that it saves all my past projects for me so I can access them easily. With a lot of repetitive PDF work, it's nice not having to start from scratch every time. I also like the fact that everything is stored in one place and the access to a forms library. Setting it up for my team was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

Sometimes it's hard to search for forms. I think that if it is the IRS form for that current year, it should be at the top of search results and easily identifiable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Fully Online PDF Editing with Smooth Tools"
4.5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

What I like most about PDFfiller is how easy it makes working with PDF files. I don't need any special technical knowledge to use it. Everything is clear and simple, so even the first time using it feels comfortable. Editing text, adding signatures, or filling out forms takes only a few minutes. I also like that it works fully online. I don't have to download heavy software or worry about updates. I can just open my browser, upload a file, and start working. This is very helpful when I am using different devices or working from different places. Another good thing is how smooth the editing tools feel. I can type, erase, highlight, or add images without breaking the layout of the document. It feels natural, like editing a normal document instead of a locked PDF. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

One thing I don't like much is that some useful features are locked behind paid plans. If you are using it regularly, the free version can feel limited, especially when you need advanced tools often. Sometimes, when working with very large or complex PDF files, the loading speed can be a bit slow. It's not a big issue, but it can interrupt the flow when you are in a hurry. Another small issue is that first-time users might feel slightly confused by the number of tools available. There are many options on the screen, so it can take little time to understand where everything is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Yet User-Friendly PDF Solution"
4.5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

I find pdfFiller easy to use, which is great. I also appreciate that there's not just an online version but an app that we can use on mobile devices, including iPads and tablets. Using pdfFiller on the go is great for signatures, as it allows the opportunity for others to complete forms online using tablets. It's especially useful for our church, providing the opportunity for others to quickly fill out forms or surveys through links on their mobile devices. I also found the library of documents to be a good, useful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

Some of the formatting is a little difficult. Depends on the document, but if I want to erase a line from a previous document and just make it a dialog box, it's not as easy as I'd like. The QR code is awesome, but it'd be more convenient if we could use it without logging in with details like a name and email address. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"LOVE pdfFiller! Affordable, Time-Saving PDF Solution with No-Brainer Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

I love pdfFiller for several reasons. The price is super affordable, I paid $92 for the full year and I use it probably twice a week. It saves me so much time by eliminating the need to get in-person signatures from my clients and families (I have 12 clients with varying schedules so it's tough to track everyone down by deadlines) . I also enjoy the time stamps feature, which is important as I work in the medical field with HIPAA regulations; it helps me show exactly when something was signed and reviewed. Plus, I get follow-up emails, which save me time as well. The initial setup was super easy, which I loved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

sometimes I have issues when a document already has the click boxes that when I upload it, it clicks all the boxes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless PDF Management with User-Friendly Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

I find pdfFiller really helpful for creating and modifying PDFs, which is usually very challenging unless you have Adobe or something similar. pdfFiller makes it really easy to merge documents, fax, and get signatures. I love how intuitive and easy it is to use, with all options being very accessible and user-friendly. The initial setup was very easy too, even though I had a colleague helping me, I remember it being smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

Perhaps the filing system could be improved, so maybe have some more options for use of folders and ways to store different documents. At times I also have a hard time deleting documents. I tried just the other day and couldn't get the 'select all' thing to work for some reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time-Saving and Efficient PDF Solution"
4/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

I really value pdfFiller because it has made the process of sending my private practice forms so much smoother. I love the feature where I can send a fillable PDF straight to the family, which is much better than using paper. I've also created different packs of forms for different types of clients and customized those into PDFs. I use pdfFiller for school contracting too, and it makes signing and sending documents for signatures very easy. When I'm hiring employees, having a separate PDF filled with onboarding forms saves me from the mess of emails and printing. Overall, pdfFiller is very useful and time-saving because I can literally click a button and send documents off, and I love that completed documents come straight back to my email, making it easy to track and organize everything. I like that there are templates available which save me time by not having to search for forms outside of pdfFiller. It's helpful for quickly filling out forms like a W-9 before sending them off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

Sometimes when I have created a fillable PDF document as a template of my own, it makes me have to assign each and every fillable area to the email manually. That's been a little bit of a hassle for me. I would really appreciate if there was just one button that I can use to assign all assigned areas to one email. Additionally, one thing that I will say is that my employee does not have the access that I have and I was unable to resolve that issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Online PDF Editing and E-Signing in One Place"
5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

What I like most about PDFFiller is how easy and convenient it is to use. It lets me edit, fill out, and sign documents all in one place without needing to print anything. I also like that it works online, so I can access my documents from anywhere, whether I’m on my phone or computer. That flexibility makes it really useful for school and personal tasks.

Another thing I appreciate is how simple the tools are. I can add text, highlight, or even upload my signature without it feeling confusing or overwhelming. It’s straightforward and doesn’t take much time to figure out.

The most helpful feature is being able to fill out and sign forms electronically. Instead of printing, scanning, or mailing documents, I can complete everything digitally in just a few minutes.

It’s also really helpful that I can create fillable forms and organize documents in one place. This saves time and keeps everything neat, especially when dealing with multiple assignments or important paperwork. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

1. Confusing subscription and billing structure

I’m often unclear about how free trials convert into paid subscriptions, and I’ve had trouble canceling or managing my plan. I also feel the monthly pricing is relatively high compared to alternatives.

2. Paywall on basic or expected features

I’ve noticed that essential functions (such as downloading files or completing certain edits) are locked behind paid plans, which can feel restrictive.

3. Performance issues with large or complex files

When I work with large PDFs or documents with many pages, the platform can slow down and become less responsive.

4. The interface can feel cluttered or unintuitive at times

While it’s generally user-friendly, the interface sometimes feels crowded, which makes it harder to quickly find specific tools or features.

5. Limitations in advanced editing and functionality

I’ve run into limitations such as limited customization for complex forms, links not working properly after export, and restrictions when combining multiple pages.

6. Occasional usability and workflow friction

At times, it feels like I have to “jump through hoops” just to save documents or finish tasks, which slows down my workflow.

Overall, PDFFiller is a capable and widely used tool, but its biggest weaknesses for me are pricing transparency, access to core features, and consistent performance. If these areas were improved, it would make a noticeable difference in my experience—especially as a student and casual user who needs quick, affordable solutions. Response from Rina P. of pdfFiller

Hello Vivian! Many thanks for taking time to write such an impressively long review! This is so helpful!

We would like to address comments 1/2 in the dislike part right away:

The logic with the free trial period is quite simple, actually: the first 30 days are the free trial, for any first-timer. After this free trial, you can be either on our monthly plan (paying month by month), or on our annual one (paying once a year). Annual plan is indeed a bit discounted and is more beneficial (thus majority of customers choose it, tbh).

Secondly and most importantly, pdfFiller absolutely does not lock/hide any separate features behind any paywalls. Free trial period and our paid plans have exactly the same features, no limitations. Downloading is never paid separately, we assure you. Neither is any other feature/functionality.

If you have any further questions / have concerns/ can't find the right feature, please email us, it's support@pdffiller.com. Thank you.
