PDF Architect includes all the features I want and use on a regular basis. Its drag-and-drop interface speeds up my workflow and keeps routine tasks quick and straightforward.

The conversion tools make it easy to turn PDFs into other formats I use often, like Word and Excel. It also integrates smoothly with my overall system, so creating PDFs feels transparent and hassle-free.

Conversion speed and accuracy have been excellent, and the built-in OCR option can be a real lifesaver when I need it. The pricing also feels competitive compared with other options on the market and certainly not expensive.

I haven’t needed support much for everyday use or setup, but the few times I did, it was easy to find and the response was quick. Like a lot of software these days, PDF Architect also includes an AI assistant feature.

I’d like to see stronger support for creating very large PDFs. In my industry, we often need to produce huge documents—up to several thousand pages—that must be generated as a single file. PDF Architect struggles with files of this size, which makes the creation process harder and more time-consuming than it really should be. This is a clear area for improvement.

The file compression option works well overall, but it can take what feels like a long time to recalculate file sizes, so it’s slow to show what the final size reduction will be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate its price, especially when it's on sale. The features are comprehensive and remain at a reasonable price. It is fast for generating and assembling PDFs. I also like its good integration into Windows, as well as its quick search function. The overall ergonomics are well thought out, making it easy to handle for everyday uses and tasks. This is by far the simplest and easiest to use PDF editing software I've come across. We use it constantly and have integrated it across all of our locations and all personnel. Many of the functions of PDF Architect are available for free in other products. PDF Architect does have basic functionality on its free plan (this does not include editing). I appreciate the convenience of PDF Architect's ability to change file formats from PDF into a JPEG or PNG. This is quite helpful when I need to include pictures in my inspection reports. I also like the ability to view all the pages and edit the pages. Whether I'm changing the orientation from horizontal to vertical or the order of pages, like moving page two to page eight. The ability to see all the pages at once and being able to shuffle them into the proper order is very valuable to me. It helps me create a professional-looking report. I didn’t like that I couldn’t edit text from a downloaded PDF at first. I ended up purchasing the additional OCR feature because I needed it to edit the text, and for the price it was well worth it. The text highlighting mode is not easy to use. I often have to try highlighting twice to successfully get the desired text. It seems the software sees things other than text, as it highlights tiles or yellow rectangles outside the text. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
