PCArchiver is a medical software installed in Windows that serves for the scanning and archiving of documents, clinical analysis, x-ray images, laboratory tests, among others, performs an efficient and complete operation, additionally offers a database, and clinical history of patients. Its operation is very familiar since it works under the modality of opening windows, does not require a learning curve and is perfect to start the transition from a traditional physical method or paper to have electronic medical records. Without a doubt the main restriction that this program has is its high cost, so small businesses can not acquire it, it would be convenient to upgrade and develop various packages or service plans to make it more affordable to small medical centers or send development.In addition, it serves as a backup for some contingency for being a program installed is offline, so it does not require an Internet connection for its operation and synchronization, and serves as a backup of the information held by our servers and electronic equipment. Recommendations to others considering PCArchiver: It is very functional and of great help, it will optimize the processes of storage of medical files of the patients, however, they should consider its acquisition by its high cost, as the program has a free trial, it is worth trying it to determine its operation through its use. This program has been of great help to us, because when we receive patients in the emergency room or are new income and offer us their medical history, we can scan them and store them in our medical history files, allowing us to save time and focus on what really matters is the health and timely care of patients.
