It makes parking feel much more fair, plus, knowing that you have a car park waiting for you when you get into the office makes the commute actually pleasant. We knew that this would be enough space for our flexible working team. However, we wanted to ensure that we had a parking system that was easy to use for our staff no matter when they decide to come into the office. Now with Parkable, myself and my co-workers can easily use the casual or long-term parking options through the Parkable app. I have a weekly subscription which makes it very simple to share my park when I'm not in the office. Plus, I love the fact that if we share our parks we get a discount on next week's subscription fee. ### 7. Since Parkable, staff are now able to share their allocated car parks to co-workers while they are away on leave. The challenge for Waverley was to make better use of our limited car parking spaces and Parkable has certainly assisted with this. While implementing a new system is always a challenge, we have found the customer success team at Parkable to be very helpful. The implementation of the app was managed really effectively and the adoption from our staff excellent, which is a reflection on how simple and easy the app is to use. In addition the help and guidance to get staff across the line with adopting the platform was excellent! **What do you dislike about Parkable?** I don't have anything negative to say about using Parkable. It’s wonderful to provide staff parking that can be fairly shared amongst the team, and the app makes it super easy for people to reserve and pay. It’s been a big bonus for our new office. Parkable also integrates with our car park access gate, so employees can open the gate through the app whenever they arrive and leave the parking area, which does away with the hassle of swipe cards. For myself, Parkable’s access gate integration and the intuitive admin panel makes it much quicker and easier to manage the staff car park. **What do you dislike about Parkable?** I'm not sure I can think of anything! Only positive so far. **What problems is Parkable solving and how is that benefiting you?** We moved to a new head office recently, which has many more parking spaces than our previous office. This was a big investment, so we wanted to make sure we could optimise the space by letting as many staff as possible park onsite each day, with an easy way for people to pay for the parking. Using the Parkable app, staff can either pay for a long-term car park, or book one of the ‘casual’ parking spots in advance for an easy commute in the morning. Long-term parks can also easily be shared with coworkers whenever the owner is working from home or on leave, so their car park doesn’t sit empty. They even get a discount on next week’s parking fee to incentivise and reward sharing! On top of that, Parkable makes it really easy and quick to manage the car parks in the admin panel, and integrates with our access gates so staff can easily open the gates via the app. ### 9. That team was there with us every step of the way and have remained available at all times. The entire process was straightforward from the business end. The App and Admin functions are also highly user-friendly, and it takes seconds for a user to reserve a parking space. Overall a cost and time saver for sure. Finally, our company parking policy is equitable to all! **What do you dislike about Parkable?** Honestly can not answer this question at this time. There have been no negatives to the use of the Parkable app. **Recommendations to others considering Parkable:** This app is excellent, easy to use, and equitable to all! **What problems is Parkable solving and how is that benefiting you?** For our company parking has always been a complex subject as we do not have enough spaces for the entire staff. We have always based parking assignments based on seniority with the company. As a result of very low employee turnover, newer team members had to wait for several years before getting a space. And, of course, the overall time spent on parking management was ridiculous! As a result of implementing Parkakle, our parking policy is now managed with ease, and minimal time is required on oversite. Our parking policy is finally equitable to all team members. ### 17. I'm able to add parks on the platform when they're not leased by tenants, so that people can use them to park casually. Parkable also gives us full visibility of our parking assets on one platform, which makes management more efficient. With the app, we can collect payments from parking easily, and recoup costs. **What do you dislike about Parkable?** I can't think of many cons! It would be great to have remittance advice invoicing that goes straight to our accounts team instead of having them be set up as an admin. **What problems is Parkable solving and how is that benefiting you?** We own parking space across multiple properties and locations, and before Parkable it was complex to manage them all. Parkable is great because we can view the occupancy of all our car parks on the same platform. Parkable also provides more access to parking and a good experience for our tenants, which is fantastic. Staff amenities and satisfaction is what we strive to provide for our tenants, and Parkable gives those who don't have a permanent car park the opportunity to park casually at a competitive rate. ### 26. Instead of using spreadsheets, we can see who’s parking in real time, and our accounts team no longer has to reconcile parking fees against employees salaries, as payments are automated through the app when someone begins a parking session. For the team, the car parks can now be booked in advance and paid for through the app, which is great. **What do you dislike about Parkable?** Nothing, except that we should have started sooner. **Recommendations to others considering Parkable:** I recommend Parkable to companies that have more staff than carparks. **What problems is Parkable solving and how is that benefiting you?** When we switched to flexible working, few employees wanted to pay a salary sacrifice for a car park anymore. Instead, we made the car park available to any employees coming into the office. Unfortunately, this created a huge amount of admin work - managing the car park took over two hours every day. The product was easy to set up & introduce, and we have always been well supported by the team at Parkable. **What do you dislike about Parkable?** Nothing specific. Parkable works great for our team & fantatstic to see continual improvements being made. **Recommendations to others considering Parkable:** Parkable is great if you have more demand than spaces available. Great fair sharing for all staff. **What problems is Parkable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Parkable has taken the stress out of the morning commute for our tangata (people) around how & where to find a park. It has helped us to utilise our assets much more effectively so we're getting the best out of what are scarce resources in terms of parking spaces. For those that are priviledged to have an onsite carpark, being able to share it with others when not being used has fostered a greater sense of kotahitanga (unity) amongst the team. ### 29. Easy to use and intuitive system. Took away a lot of administration and hassle from the car parking experience at BNZ. Using Parkable, we were able to use our HQ car park far more efficiently. This meant that we could end one car park lease, saving the business hugely in asset lease costs. Plus, by optimising the use of the car park, we did this while maintaining parking perks for employees, and making it easy for executives to share. **What do you dislike about Parkable?** If you are using underground make sure you also install wifi as otherwise the app will not work **Recommendations to others considering Parkable:** Parkable lets you put multiple parks on one platform so is great for larger enterprises. **What problems is Parkable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Increasing BNZers positive user experience, taking away administration, keeping up to date records of who is in the parks and saving the BNZ money through "over-stacking" the car park. We knew our car parks weren't being used efficiently, but didn't want to remove parking options from our staff. Parkable makes staff parking so much more efficient that we could stop leasing an entire car park, while also creating a far better parking experience for our team. ### 30. Staff have the opportunity to pay a low parking rate and enjoy the efficiency of parking at the office. **What do you dislike about Parkable?** Some features still in development need a bit of work - it's not easy to see your park booking or park request. As admin, cannot suspend a bay for the next day (ie suspend from tomorrow) to free up a park for the next day without affecting the current booking. However, it seems to always be developing which is great. **Recommendations to others considering Parkable:** Would absolutely recommend Parkable to companies with more staff than parking, and wanting to share parks fairly between members of the team. Also great if you want to reduce admin time spent on the car park. Would recommend asking Parkable for help with internal comms, as they provide these. **What problems is Parkable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Staff have ability to park at our office at a competitive rate.
