I really appreciate the simplicity and ease of using Findmyshift. It's very straightforward for both me and the employees, and as long as they know how to read, they can use it without any issues. Managing the team’s hours, clocking in and out is made much easier with this tool. I've also been quite happy with everything over the years and have found Findmyshift a lot easier compared to other products like Deputy. It's easy to navigate. It offers tons of different options for scheduling allows all kinds of access and functionality. It's totally customizable. We allow our employees to make notes like "cupcake day at school be in after 10am" or "Dentist at 9am" Keep communications easy for all. The only thing that is frustrating is the inconsistency with how far you can see into future schedules. Somtimes you can see 20 or more, some of my leaders at times can only see 4-6 weeks out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We went through comparison of quite a few scheduling software. FindMyShift won us over in the following areas:

#1 Ease of copying/pasting templates - or in setting up templates in the first place.

#2 A general straightforwardness of using the software as almost no training is needed.

#3 Ease with sharing with other stakeholders.

If you have set up multiple facilities or rooms, users cannot swap shifts among themselves.

Its ability to set up shifts in any way I want. Many other workforce management software programs ask you to set up a "morning shift" like 7am-3pm and then assign that shift to a person. Our company and life itself needs more flexibility than that. We can set any time range for any person and it can be different every day for every year. It also uses basic copy and paste functionality already easily understood by staff so the learning curve for new administrators is very low. We also like the messaging function and its flexibility. We can message staff when their shifts change but we also can hold those notifications when we are testing out a new schedule allowing us to draft things right in the software. I know that administrators and staff alike use the tool every day and rely on it as a valuable tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some key functions are missing from the system. Time zones specific to the staff person would be helpful. Many of our staff work remotely all over the country yet have to interpret their shift in Mountain Standard Time. One additional feature that we have admired in other software programs is the ability to set the work location day by day. With more companies including ours employing hybrid workers, we would like to be able to dictate which days are in office vs work from home. One other draw back is that it does not integrate with any of our other systems, meaning we have to provide a manual reports to our payroll personnel as we do not wish to use the system itself to track hours and pay rates.
