What do you like best?

There is just so many ways to store big files/data. It is a great way to be able to collaborate projects in teams where everyone has access to the same large files. You are able to use so many developing tools through the platform as well which gives you an amazing ability to multitask. Being able to also have analytical data of social media platforms in the same place you are storing the images/videos/documents/etc is fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I don't like how "old school" the technology is. It is amazing for it's storage/developing capabilities, but the site is very out of date and seems as though it hasn't changed since the early 2010s. It also can be super slow and laggy, which makes sense with the amount of storage capabilities, but I also feel it should not be slow because it's meant for this type of thing. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Problems I am solving with Oracle Social Cloud is having all of my documents, files, data, etc., stored into one place that I am able to share with my team members just about anywhere. I am able to generate PDF's and JavaScripts of files that were not that before and share them onto other platforms of my choosing. It has helped to stay organized and on track all in the same place. What do you like best?

What I like most about this tool is that it has integration with data banks, so the results of each applied test can be sent to any member of the team. In addition, integration with other CRM services is a great benefit. This software is also compatible with several platforms. Something that I found surprising is how easy it was to use the user interface is easy to choose it as the default tool. Reporting was automated and enjoyable. What do you dislike?

The interface leaves much to be desired and the program has sometimes failed us. The number of incoming messages are also elements that we can not see from a panel, this is a great weakness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Oracle social marketing suite is a behemoth when it comes to features, we could easily find most of the services we needed, all available within our reach.

The platform allowed us to schedule multiple posts on both Twitter and Facebook.

Reporting was automated and nice.

Listening was part of our contract and we managed to pull some useful competitor analysis with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The platform was pretty expensive and our contract had a huge price tag on it.

The platform felt a little bit clunky and slow on many occasions.

Even though we received an onboarding as part of our package, the team who gave it to us felt likes sales and marketing guys who never used the platform themselves. We were then given a technical person to give us the preview, but they also failed to demonstrate certain aspects of the platform that we needed.

One last note, while the system promises to support Arabic and Asian content, when creating our listening reports we often noticed it missed on many results that other tools provided us with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If your budget can cover it, and you are looking for a suite that covers your every need and provides you with all the services required for your company to succeed in social media marketing and beat the competition, then Oracle Social Marketing should be your choice.

Oracle Social Marketing is your one stop shop for everything.

If you are looking for something cheaper, then try sprinklr or Sprout Social (we moved to combo of Sprout social and Sysomos in the following year). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

When used in a healthcare setting, it is easy to store confidential medical information among healthcare professionals. It also allows easy printing of this information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The tool itself is hard to navigate and is not very intuitive when going through it to find the information you need. It also is hard to update information yourself and thus, you need to assign an "administrator". Further, it freezes often and takes a while to load information. What do you like best?

I like all of the updates Oracle has made, especially in the fields of semantic API and aggregating responses in one stream or folder from multiple platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Certain elements such as paid placement would be mixed with organic until recently as far as reporting by stream. Now they have their own column for reporting. Company did not have Tumblr until recently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Engage with your customers but also with your reps to stay on top of updates and cool new features. Did you know you can listen in on the tone sentiment of posts and tweets, positive or negative, and tackle finding brand ambassadors and influencers as well as responding to issues with a few clicks? What do you like best?

I like scheduling posts a month at a time and post similar content on TW and FB but have them hit at different times or days or tweak a fb post with hashtags for TW or IG Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The visualization of our social media is very useful and has helped with our analytics and targeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The program seems to crash quite often leaving us stranded at times.The program sometimes also struggles with refreshing data. It could be caused by our use of Mac computers however I feel that is an acceptable excuse. Not always super user friendly either for us, again could be a result of the Mac computers. What do you like best?

Compared to other products I've used, I can't say there's any feature of this software that another company doesn't handle better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Software feels bloated and clunky. I've used it for two years, as required by a client I work on. I dread scheduling social media posts. It takes way too many clicks to set up a single post. What do you like best?

This tool is great for social media monitoring as it gives timely metrics. The simple to use dashboard makes using this tool convenient and easy. It covers a lot of needs and brings in big data on listening, measurement, sentiment, identifying influencers and reporting. This data can be used to carve out who is listening, why they're listening and what they are looking for. Often times, when working with different brands, this data is helpful to see if you are on the right track or if you need to reevaluate your approach. This tool is also great for reporting back to high-level executives and department heads to showcase the work you've been doing while highlighting key aspects that work and don't work for your communication. What do you dislike?

I dislike how it can't measure real-time posts, so for every event we have to have a war room setup to ensure that we can capture spur of the moment conversations. It would be great if there was a capability to post from your phone. What do you like best?

The UI/UX is very different from other SRMs, where everything comes in an inbox email format, and you are able to see the conversation streams. A lot easier to go through the messages you need to reply to and filter those unread messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Not a lot of information or data on the engagement portion - unable to tell me what is the response time, and how each team member is doing.
