In the past, I mentioned that there aren't calculated fields in dashboards but now there are! My only issue I'd like to see is more depending filters where the dropdowns are filtered based on another selection. There is some control but not in all dropdowns. AuditBoard provides an incredibly intuitive and user-friendly platform for managing internal audits, SOX compliance, and risk assessments. Optro's controls management and ops audit modules are really where the tool excels. It gave businesses the ability to generate a living and always changing risk & controls matrix. It is very straightforward and user friendly for new users.

Additionally, they continue to innovate with new features based on their customer's feedback often.

While Optro is fairly flexible, there are some limitations like its control hierarchy in Controls Management. Entity -> Process -> Subprocess really only allows you L2 to L3 process levels and you may not create more process levels than that.

I wish the SOX risk assessment feature was more robust and allowed for more streamlined mapping of control setup and chart of accounts. So currently, we still use Excel to do our scoping. Also, if you have mulitple ERPs with various charts of accounts, this gets more complex and will take hard work to map everything out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Optro has many abilities that can be explored and leveraged for every team. Using it from the Auditor perspective, a consolidated platform is very helpful for Audits, Issue Mgmt, Dashboarding, Risk Assessments, Risk and Control Libraries and AI usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As Optro has focused on more AI itineraries, their customer service has declined. Sales pitches are more obviously sales pitches and less customer-friendly onboarding experiences. Additionally, automated roll-out of un-announced changes has multiple times driven questions from team members about aesthetic or functionality changes within the system. Since it’s so highly customizable, once someone makes a decision or changes standard fields, it’s very hard to get back to the status quo. I enjoy that it's user-friendly. The application is very organized & easy to navigate. It's been simple to teach to new users as well. I used to work in organizations where we documented all testing in Excel, so now using Optro has shown a big difference. The speed & reliability of the application is great as well. I like how easy the tool is to use, and how intuitive the screens and interfaces feel. The interface is straightforward, which makes it accessible for both beginners and experienced professionals. I also appreciate the way it connects objectives, risks, causes, consequences, mitigation strategies, mitigation actions, key risk indicators (KRIs), sub-risks, and other related elements in one coherent flow. My experience has been wonderful overall. On the rare occasions when I ran into an issue, the technical support team responded promptly and helped get it resolved. Auditboard is a tool for managing everything related to the application of audits, findings, auditable entities, among other strong features that the tool possesses. However, a very strong point is its great capacity for customization of Dashboard-type indicators, thanks to the tool it natively includes, Power BI. The possibilities with this integration are only limited by imagination. Any metric and Dashboard can be achieved, which will be natively integrated into the platform. An area of opportunity that can be improved is increasing the possibilities in managing user information, being able to fully construct the personnel hierarchies, something that is addressed through Power BI, but it can undoubtedly be much better naturally. I truly appreciate AuditBoard's integration with AI, which significantly enhances the efficiency of substantive reviews of workpapers. This feature streamlines my workflow and allows for more accurate and timely completion of tasks. Furthermore, I find the initial setup of AuditBoard to be super intuitive, which made the adoption process smooth and stress-free.
