I am a CPA so cost is always an area that can be improved. We would like it to be less costly so that it becomes a no-brainer for all audit organizations. We had to build a business case and it was a hard sell because of its price so hopefully as they dominate the market, they can lower their cost and it will be a win-win. I find AuditBoard incredibly useful for our Internal Audit team, particularly in managing SOX and operational audits. The system's ease of documentation is remarkably beneficial, as it creates a seamless experience across different types of audits, ensuring a consistent feel between SOX and Operational audits. This not only enhances the effectiveness of documentation but also saves a considerable amount of time for my team. Additionally, I appreciate the system's ability to track edits efficiently, which is crucial for maintaining restricted control over our documentation. Within the SOX hub, when looking at the archive from a previous year, I find it challenging that the workstream requests (PBC requests) linked to each control do not show up. I've had issues with cross-functional permissions which have been challenging to enable certain aspects. This has hindered the setup and efficient use of AuditBoard for my needs. There needs to be better permissioning when setting up AuditBoard for smoother operation across teams. Additionally, during the initial setup, not all data was in a compatible format when transitioning from Excel, requiring extra configuration effort on my part. We use AuditBoard across many different teams and many different modules. AuditBoard has helped streamline our processes. We use it to complete risk assessments, create issues based on this information, send documentation requests, complete controls and assess different systems.
