"Great workflow tool but customization could be easier"

What do you like best about Archer?

RSA Archer met my team's needs for building out a Vendor Risk Management program, allowing full control and build out of our customized workflows for all SMEs and stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Archer?

Although the platform allowed for customization and met our team's needs, it was very nuanced to create the custom dashboards + necessary approval workflows and required multiple resources on our end including hiring a full-time dedicated Archer RSA expert on our team, who dually worked as the primary admin, and contracting with multiple consulting firms for many years to assist in the build out. Do your due diligence to best understand what likely are the capital budgeting requirements to onboard and implement this system for your program needs, especially the ongoing support needs + costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Archer?

User-friendly interface, data visualisation is very helpful, one can track Project status, budget spendings, identified risks using dashboards and ivews and notifications can be configured to alert users on possible risks and issues identified, RSA Archer provides OOTB solutions which can be tailored to meet the organisation process Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hard to develop customized applications that were not out of the box. It also became complication to figure out the structure of the application once it grew to a larger scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you need an application for tracking capiblities, RSA Archer can get you there, but if you're looking for something with more customization not out-of-the-box, I would look elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Archer?

Not so user friendly. Certain customization has to be made in order for it to be useful and understandable. Also, sometimes it would not work on IE even though it states that the most compatible Internet Browser to be used is IE. I have to jump among IE, Chrome, and Firefox sometimes in order to make certain function works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Archer?

We use Archer to manage vendor relationships, vendor contacts, vendor contracts, risk/policy exceptions, and various other vendor risk uses. It is used enterprise-wide and is a key part of doing any work with a third party. We have used different versions of RSA Archer over the years and the team is trying to get the application to the most current platform/release. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Archer?

There are a couple limitations that does not benifeit or assist with our company that ca. Be improved but it’s a very great tool we use and we believe we will see updates in the near future Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
