# What are the top-rated omnichannel commerce platforms for centralizing product data across multiple sales channels?

For teams comparing top-rated omnichannel commerce platforms for centralizing product data across multiple sales channels, I’d narrow the shortlist based on where that product data needs to flow. The G2 Grid report for Omnichannel Commerce and user reviews show a few different approaches.

Need one commerce hub across online and physical stores? Shopify Plus: Reviewers highlight centralized product catalogs, real-time inventory syncing, and connections to POS, Google Merchant Center, Meta, Bing, and TikTok Shopping.

Managing complex enterprise catalogs? SAP Commerce Cloud: Users value centralized control over product data, pricing, catalogs, inventory, and multi-store operations, especially when SAP systems already sit behind the commerce stack.

Running multiple storefronts and customer journeys? Salesforce B2C Commerce: Reviewers point to centralized catalog management, inventory visibility, promotions, and integrations across broader Salesforce workflows.

Want commerce without heavy platform complexity? BigCommerce: Users like managing products, orders, inventory, and multiple storefronts from one platform while extending into additional channels through integrations.

Product feeds are the real bottleneck? Feedonomics: Reviewers praise having one master feed that can be transformed and distributed across search, social, marketplaces, and other destinations without repeatedly involving developers.

The distinction matters. Shopify Plus, SAP Commerce Cloud, and Salesforce B2C Commerce act more like central commerce platforms. Feedonomics is particularly useful when the harder problem is getting accurate product data into many external channels.

For teams already selling across several channels, what is harder to keep synchronized today: product information, inventory, pricing, or promotions?

To the which-is-hardest question: promotions, and the reason is structural. Product info is static and inventory is a number, but a promotion is context, with channel-specific rules, stacking logic, timing windows, and regional variations, and "centralizing" it means encoding all that conditionality in one place without flattening it. That's why the failure surfaces at the register or the cart, as a price that doesn't match what the customer saw in the other channel, which is the single most trust-destroying sync error a retailer can make. Evaluating platforms on promotion modeling rather than catalog sync would sort this list quickly.
