**What do you like best about Open Design Alliance?**

I find ODA’s SDKs useful to my development work in software. It is a great benefit to be able to incorporate the functionality of reading and writing different CAD and BIM file formats within my own program.

**What do you dislike about Open Design Alliance?**

The free version of ODA’s SDKs does have some restrictions to file conversion operations. Converting larger or more files also requires one to possess a paid membership in this site.

**What problems is Open Design Alliance solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without ODA, incorporating CAD/BIM capabilities into my software was a huge challenge. Rather than a multitude of different SDKs to control each device, ODA’s SDKs are fully integrated and save me me severable days of development.

By promoting open standards and providing tools that support multiple formats, the ODA helps mitigate the issues associated with proprietary data formats
