# Spinify vs SalesScreen: which better increases sales activity and engagement?

They pull at the same goal from different angles.

There's a team-composition variable worth adding beyond the personality-fit framing this usually gets. A leaderboard model like Spinify's constantly surfaces relative rank, which can demotivate whoever's at the bottom, and a team that's actively scaling necessarily has more new or ramping reps who are going to occupy that spot by definition. A rewards-and-recognition model like SalesScreen's can be tuned to celebrate improvement or effort rather than just rank, which tends to hold up better on a team with a wide skill spread. So the answer might depend less on which culture a team prefers and more on how wide the performance gap actually is between the best and newest rep right now, since a tight-spread team and a wide-spread team could see opposite results from the same tool.

The bigger test is whether engagement lasts after the novelty of leaderboards or rewards wears off. I’d compare sustained activity changes over a few months, especially whether reps keep responding to coaching and recognition once the initial launch energy fades.
