"Effortless Collaboration with Shareable Boards and Auto-Updating Content"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Opal?

What I like most about Opal is the ability to create boards that can be shared with others. I especially appreciate that when I update content on my board, any linked or reused content on other boards is updated automatically as well. This makes collaboration much easier and helps keep information consistent.

I also really like the visualizations, as they make it easier to understand and navigate complex information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

One thing I dislike about Opal is that duplicating content often requires a lot of manual copying and pasting, which can be time-consuming.

I would also like more flexibility when it comes to adding custom fields, as the current options feel somewhat limited for organizing information the way I want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boosts Team Alignment and Task Visibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Opal?

I like that Opal allows me to see every task, know who did it, and identify the task owner. This visibility is valuable because it provides a clear view of what is going on, including the projects, the person in charge, and who is working on each task. It saves a lot of time because I don't have to spend time searching for information. Additionally, the initial setup of Opal was really easy, with the help of some tutorials and instructions that made the process as smooth as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

It can be improved that sometimes I don't see in real time the changes that other people do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Tool for Creative Organization & Collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about Opal?

We use Opal heavily for creative asset trafficking and cross-team collaboration, and it’s become a really helpful organizational tool for our workflow. One of the biggest benefits is the ability to build out campaign moments clearly by platform, which makes review processes much faster and easier for both internal teams and clients.

I also appreciate how simple it is to download assets and quickly reference associated copy, URLs, and other trafficking details all in one place. The collaboration tools are another strong point — the side chat/commenting feature makes it easy to communicate directly within the workflow, and having a historical chat log is extremely useful for tracking decisions and feedback.

Another feature I’ve found especially valuable is the edit/history tracking. Being able to see what changes were made and backtrack when needed adds a strong layer of transparency and helps prevent workflow issues. Overall, Opal has been a very useful tool for keeping campaign management and creative coordination organized across teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

Sometimes the loading can be slow or sometimes the bulk download feature takes a second but it's not a deal breaker for me! Still incredibly efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lee Dussinger of Opal

Thank you for the detailed review and for sharing how Opal supports your campaign management and cross-team collaboration. This is what we built Opal for!. Your note about occasional slow loading and bulk downloads taking a bit longer is appreciated, and we’re happy to hear Opal is still making high-volume creative coordination much more efficient overall.

"Organized, Comprehensive Platform with a Great UI and Seamless Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about Opal?

I have used other products similar to Opal and nothing is more organized or comprehensive than this platform. The UI is especially favorable from our team. The system never glitches or has any period of time when we can't access it. Personally I especially like the Opal Boards! This is such an easy and straightforward way for me to track all of my creative calendar needs all in one place.

Integrations are seemless, the pricing model is great for what your company is actually getting, and it comes with all of the onboarding and continued support you will need while working through the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

There is nothing I dislike about Opal! All of the features I have tried work perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lee Dussinger of Opal

Thank you for the wonderful review and for sharing how Opal has become a one-stop shop for creative calendars across distributed, teams. It’s especially meaningful to know that Opal helps replace scattered cloud-sharing docs with a centralized, accessible workspace where teams can stay aligned no matter where they are. "Enhances Collaboration, Needs Streamlined Board Connections"
4/5
What do you like best about Opal?

I really appreciate Opal's great interface and how it provides visibility for the work all of our teams do, which helps to eliminate silos. Customization has been great and the reporting offerings, such as PPT presentations, are impressive. Opal has helped us bring more visibility to all the good work each of our teams are doing, and to see the impact our work streams have on various campaigns. It also enhances collaboration between teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

I don't like the limitations on note length in boards. It's not the most straightforward process to connect boards to plans and larger campaigns; folks can get stuck on creating a board and then ask - what's next? The initial setup is still ongoing and has been challenging in terms of adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lee Dussinger of Opal

We appreciate you calling out the ways Opal is helping your teams improve visibility, organization, and cross-functional collaboration. It’s especially encouraging to hear that it's helping show the impact of work across campaigns. Your feedback on board note limits, connecting boards to larger plans, and the challenges of initial adoption is valuable as we keep working to make those workflows clearer and easier.

"Efficient for Organizing Creative Files, Lacks Strong Communication Features"
3/5
What do you like best about Opal?

I use Opal to access advertising creative and it allows me and my team to access and organize creative files. I enjoy the visual layout; when we get new assets, we are provided with a grid visual which I find pleasant. I like the orientation of the information; it is very well lined out with copy and creative, plus headlines and body are separate. The grid is nice because I can see a preview of the creative in each Opal link. I also like the way that you can easily share things via the link. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

I think there should be a better system for communication within the website. I think there should be a conversation hub, similar to a message service like Slack or Teams, in which you can directly message groups / individuals as opposed to commenting on the Opal link. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lee Dussinger of Opal

Thank you for sharing your experience with Opal! We’re happy to hear the visual grid, clear layout, creative previews, and shareable links are helpful in your workflow. Your suggestion for stronger in-platform communication, including a more centralized conversation hub for groups or individuals, is valuable feedback.

"Empowers Social Strategy with Collaborative Tools"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Opal?

I like the live calendar because it's always the latest version, making sure social content is up-to-date. The feedback and approval tools are great as they allow me to do social content validation without needing different apps or streams. I also appreciate how Opal lets us filter the calendar within different teams but remain on the same platform, enabling me to view what my colleagues overseas are planning in their regions and vice versa. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

Sometimes the images/videos in the calendar are slow to load. Once I create a presentation, I cannot edit it if I forgot to add a view or a filter; I have to create a new one from scratch. Also, sometimes users have trouble with the presentations I share, like assets being slow to load or the presentation having bugs. It would be useful if they were able to report any issues directly to Opal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lee Dussinger of Opal

Great to hear you're getting value from the calendar and Sprinklr integration. Thank you again for taking the time to share how Opal supports your global planning efforts!

"Opal Streamlines Our LinkedIn Content Planning and Team Alignment"
5/5
What do you like best about Opal?

Overall its been a solid addition to our social content workflow, having a dedicated space where different marketing and social teams can align on content without things getting lost in threads. We have been using Opal for almost a year now, primarily for planning and creating LinkedIn content. The UI is clean and visually intuitive once you're in it. LinkedIn connectivity is core and it works reliably. Onboarding was the toughest part, the learning curve was slower than expected and knowing how to navigate. I don't know about pricing, but I think the value is there, given the efficiency once everything is set up. I don't notice the AI features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

The onboarding experience is the biggest friction point; it took longer than expected to get the team fully comfortable - a couple of working/engagement sessions to get it right. The AI features aren't noticeable and feel like they're still finding their footing. Maybe as they get more refined and apparent, the team will start utilizing more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lee Dussinger of Opal

Appreciate you for sharing how Opal has become a reliable space for LinkedIn content planning, review, and team alignment! We’re glad to hear it’s helping reduce version confusion, manual follow-ups, and fragmented conversations by giving your campaign and social teams one place to coordinate. Thank you for using Opal and for the standout review!

"Structured Planning with Constraints"
4/5
What do you like best about Opal?

I really like Opal's calendar because it has a simple structure that allows me to quickly switch between week, day, and month. It's also great that I can see what content my colleagues have planned for the day, which makes collaboration easier. The quick uploading of content is also a big plus, as it makes my work more efficient. The tool is also accessible and facilitates uniform use among my colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

Unfortunately, we have a maximum of 10 posts per month, which is sometimes difficult because it means first come, first served. Not only that. It is also sometimes difficult to see whether the content has really been uploaded after review. Additionally, it must be said that although the review of the content is practical, it is rather counterproductive for posts that are time-sensitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lee Dussinger of Opal

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Opal. We’re glad the calendar structure, quick content uploads, and visibility into colleagues’ plans are helping your team plan more efficiently and collaborate in a more consistent way.

"Streamlines Social Media Management for SAP Concur"
4/5
What do you like best about Opal?

I like Opal because it really makes everything streamlined and easy by putting it all in one place. It's super convenient to send something for approval and ensure it gets posted. I particularly enjoy how easy the approval process is, which eliminates all the bureaucracy and uncertainty about whether a post is actually on its way to being published. This cuts down the number of steps we have to take. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

The one thing that I tend to find a little bit difficult in one way is maybe this is our use of the platform, but the boards versus the calendar view get sometimes confusing. We have different team members who only go off the calendar view, and different team members who only go off what's in the boards. So if there's any crossover between what hasn't been added to a board or what's on a board but doesn't have a date on it yet, we lose a little bit of visibility there. So, people get their wires crossed if they don't know what place they're supposed to be adding things. That would be one of the things that we sometimes encounter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lee Dussinger of Opal

We’re glad the centralized workspace and approval process are helping reduce extra steps, remove uncertainty, and make it easier to manage requests across markets. Thank you for taking the time to write a review and thank you for using Opal!
