I started my trial on September 11th at 21:51, expecting it to last until the end of September 14th. However, they charged me $107.99 at 22:21 on the 14th, before the trial period should have ended. Their billing details state only the "expiration date," without specifying the exact time, creating deliberate ambiguity. It's not until after being charged that you find, buried in the Q&A, that they calculate the trial down to the hour. This lack of transparency appears designed to trap customers into unwanted charges. Such practices could violate both the EU's Unfair Contract Terms Directive and Hong Kong's Trade Descriptions Ordinance, which require clear, fair, and transparent terms.
