What I like best about Nexxen is that it isn’t just a DSP. It’s a full stack with the DSP, the SSP, and its own data. As a buyer, I’ve spent years stitching together targeting from one place, measurement from another, and inventory from a third. Nexxen has its own audience data through Discovery, and it has a direct line into Smart TV through V, formerly VIDAA. That lets you buy home screen placements programmatically and use TV viewing data to build audiences. That’s a real differentiator in CTV, where everyone is fighting over the same supply.
The other thing I like is that they’re building toward outcomes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wouldn’t say dislike, but the thing I’d watch is that Nexxen is a smaller player in a space with giants. The Trade Desk, Amazon, and the walled gardens have a lot of mindshare with buyers, so Nexxen has to work harder to be the first DSP people think of. A lot of its edge also comes from the V partnership on Smart TV, which is powerful, but it’s a partnership, not something they fully own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
