The packet-level visibility and application monitoring provide strong end-to-end insight, making it easier to isolate network issues and identify root cause quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest drawback is total cost of ownership. InfiniStreamNG appliances carry a high upfront price, and annual support renewals add a significant recurring expense, which makes it hard to justify expanding packet visibility to more links. Scaling storage for longer back-in-time packet retention means buying more hardware rather than just adjusting a license. The nGeniusONE interface also has a steep learning curve. Setting up filters, service definitions, and dashboards isn't intuitive, so in practice a couple of experienced engineers end up owning the tool instead of the wider team using it day to day. Hardware RMAs have also taken longer than we'd like compared to other network vendors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
