## About Netlify
Netlify is a full-stack, AI-native web development platform where agents and developers build together. Start, build, ship, and run web and internal apps on production infrastructure from the very first prompt. Most AI builders stop at the prototype. Netlify is where prototypes become production. Builders use Netlify to start a project from a prompt, develop with the leading AI coding agents, ship to a global edge network, and run applications at scale. No migration from a sandbox to production. No technical cliff between a working prompt and a working business. Agent Runners brings the leading coding agents into the Netlify dashboard, including Claude Code, Codex CLI, and Gemini CLI. There's no proprietary in-house agent to lock into. Teams pick the best tool for the job, run it on live projects, and review every change through Deploy Previews before anything reaches production. Netlify Database adds fully-managed serverless Postgres with isolated database branches automatically wired into every Deploy Preview. Agents and teams experiment safely without touching production data. AI Gateway handles LLM integrations without the overhead of managing API keys or environment variables. Observability surfaces what happens after deploy, giving teams the visibility to run AI-driven applications as dependable production workloads. Underneath, Netlify supports every modern web framework, serverless functions, edge computing, and a global CDN. The same infrastructure scales from a first prototype to enterprise production traffic without rewrites or rehoming. This is what we call agent experience (AX): a shared workflow where humans and AI agents work side by side, shipping quality software together. Pro pricing reflects this. Netlify Pro is a flat $20/month with unlimited seats, so every developer, internal builder, PM, marketer, and AI agent on the team can build without added per-seat costs. ####

## Netlify Reviews
 ### 1. Quick, Easy, and great for simple applications

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben J. | Principle Web Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

Netlify is really easy to use for straightforward deployments and smaller applications. It's got some really easy features to configure your site, and there's tons of really fantastic presets for single page applications, Gatsby apps, and more.

As a front end developer, Netlify is awesome, and it's really easy to use for just getting a static site, single page app, or small project off the ground and live on the internet. The domain configuration is really easy too. For front end developers that just want to get something out into the world, Netlify is excellent!

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

For complex applications that require a ton of configuration, microservices, and virtualization, I don't think Netlify would be the best choice. We have some larger applications that make use of virtualization and automation, but we know that this will never be used for it because Netlify is better suited for smaller applications that don't need a ton of configuration.

I do think the user experience could use some work, as I had to call in to get my HTTPS upgrade with let's encrypt validated. It took a little bit to get it there, but their support was really great in handling it.

**Recommendations to others considering Netlify:**

Use Netlify for smaller projects and keep things as simple as possible.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the free tier of Netlify to host my personal projects, portfolio, and other small applications. We use it at work to host small and simple applications that really don't need a lot of configuration and just act as a single click deploy.

 ### 2. It is a great and simple for hosting a website

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

The thing I like most about it is its simplicity and ability to easily integrate with Github. It is quite simple to use.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

The only one thing I dislike is that sometime their CDN become slow.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to host our site and integrating with Github

 ### 3. Impressive and powerful hosting solution for any Jamstack project

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

Easy to set up and go live, very generous free plan, custom domains, ease of use administration dashboard, cloud functions - everything you need for most projects. The redirects module is potent and yet quite simple to manage.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

I would love to see better integration with the authentication layer out of the box.

**Recommendations to others considering Netlify:**

Very easy and straightforward to get started and get results in a relatively short time. Their services are constantly getting better and evolving with more needed features.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits are - fast cloud hosting with API functionality, seamless GitHub integration for deployment, which is genuinely more rapid than other providers.

 ### 4. My new favorite host

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

How quick it is to setup and get deployments running, as well as the features and settings available out of the gate (like custom domain names)

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

They don't offer an SSR option (at least for Vue/Nuxt)

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using Netlify for SSG of Nuxt websites but starting to use them for other types of sites as well. The deployment speed from start to finish and the ease of use really sold me.

 ### 5. Fastest and easy hosting provider for web applications using technologies like React

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Venkatesh Kumar S. | Frontend Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

The main thing I like in netlify is its continuous auto integration of dynamic builds from github, bitbucket or anyother version control systems.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

Not found anything yet. Even the docs are also great for beginners.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using netlify to host development builds of all the client projects in my company.

 ### 6. Easy and not expensive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oussama R. | ServiceNow Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

Netlify offer the CI solution with github integration, also the possibility to add forms backend less. I love also the different integration possibilities like with Contentful, slack,...
And all this with a small price

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

I think the fact that you need to pay for an extra collaborators

**Recommendations to others considering Netlify:**

I will recommend it without any hesitation

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Netlify offers a complete solution. I use it for all my react projects. It helps me to save a lot of time

 ### 7. Netlify has allowed me to upload and load my files without major inconveniences.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariana A. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

Its ease of use is quite surprising, the fact that it can perform all configurations in a fairly simple and quick manner helps me streamline a large number of processes quite easily, the stability and robustness it has is excellent, which allows me to upload and load my files without major inconveniences, its customer service team is quite fast in responding to any questions or concerns.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

Being honest, I have nothing to complain about in this regard since it truly is a great and efficient tool, and its technical support is always attentive and responds when any issue arises.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been of great help to me to create my website in a very easy and fast way, not to mention that it also gives me the opportunity to host my web page on their servers in a quite simple way, with secure and reliable operation that guarantees high performance and a good browsing experience for my visitors.

 ### 8. allows me to create and host my websites in a fairly simple, simple and fast way

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marians G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

It is very easy to use, it allows me to create and host my websites in a fairly simple, simple and fast way. Regarding the design of the website, it is provided with functions that allow me to design the page from scratch, being able to use html to achieve a better finish, configuring everything to be able to use it easily can be done even with closed eyes, if we talk about costs its price is quite accessible which makes it an excellent ally for small companies that still do not have enough capital to acquire more recognized application services.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

To be honest, I can't think of anything that I dislike about using this application. I think it is very well thought out and designed.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I only used it once and it was to create my company's website and really that time I used it it seemed a fairly accessible and comfortable option to use, however I have not proposed to continue editing the website for I think it still looks good, but when I make the decision to accommodate it, rest assured that I will use this application again.

 ### 9. Fast and Reliable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael K. | Founder, CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

It's free and can be deployed straight from Github. The command line interface makes it easy and fast to use for developers like myself. Another great plus is that I can host many sites via Netlify, and its so fast to deploy another one straight from the command line.

The starter plan is great as one is given all the features and tools needed to realize how powerful the platform can be. The plug-in tools, such as submit site map to google, are priceless for keeping our site known to the users of the internet. Another great tool is the checklinks, and no more 404, which helps keep our site's connections in check so we don't have any broken links as our project gets bigger.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

I wish the free tier was larger, so that we could have longer build times for larger projects. The documentation could be slightly improved, as it was unclear what key was needed to link a build to a site. The docs were using different terms, and that was ambiguous.

**Recommendations to others considering Netlify:**

Get the command line interface and learn it. That's a great way to start.

The community on Github have great examples that you can run through to get a grasp of how implement netlify and interface it with other services.

I'd recommend building sites locally and only pushing them to a Git master branch deployed on Netlify when there is a significant update. That way to don't eat your free build time for small little deployments and developments. If this doesn't make sense to you, there are definitely some tutorials out there on Github and branching.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving our own checkout flow, email subscription flow, and landing pages. With Netlify we could create our own sandbox and development site for sales funnel, starting from a landing page and ending at a checkout. If the user drops, we have his email and can deploy serverless functions with AWS step functions to re-engage the user.

 ### 10. Excellent application, easy to use and with a great support team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ion V. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

It is relatively easy to use, it has good documentation and in general, it just works. It's excellent for rapid prototyping and it has a very helpful support team. I usually use it in combination with GitHub and I find this combination to be powerful enough to keep coming back to it. To add custom domains it's a breeze as well.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

The price is to high for certain use cases, for example for single sites that need registration. Also, the build minutes metric adds useless complexity to the pricing structure. Also, the Netlify CMS looks like an unfinished product (even for an opensource project).

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to set up simple websites fast, mostly by using the GitHub integration for running static sites built with Gatsby.js. It's a simple workflow that can help lunch products fast.

 ### 11. Redefining the web hosting landscape

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** jake p. | Director of Digital Platform, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

The JAMstack methodology has changed the way websites are made for many designers and developers. Netlify's developer experience, git integrations, and atomic deployment are a dream to use. Authentication, SSL certificates and DNS are built in and easy to use as well. Their documentation and community focus are unmatched amongst their competitors. NetlifyCMS is a great start on a git powered CMS that requires no actual database.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

The platform started with an extremely generous free plan and has become more restrictive as time goes on. Netlify need to make money but it'd be nice to get the same benefits as when I signed up. Lambda functions are a nice feature but easier to use on Zeit/Vercel. Builds can take a long time for bigger sites with a lot of pages, support for incremental builds is not easy to do with current static site generators or CMS platforms. The expectations of features from Wordpress are not fully mirrored by Netlify yet but is getting closer with NetlifyCMS, TinaCMS, and other software. Using Netlify correctly requires integrating with external APIs or services and requires other services, hosting platforms or databases.

**Recommendations to others considering Netlify:**

Learn about the JAMstack methodology and integrate it on existing projects or for new ones.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast performance, improved security, and easy deployment are built into Netlify's core functionality. I can make sites in less time and with less backend headaches than before Netlify existed.

 ### 12. Tool for empowered dev teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aldin N. | Frontend Lead Developer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

My favorite thing about Netlify is the ease of integration with any GitHub repository, it only takes developer a few clicks, and his CI/CD environment is ready. It enabled my team with fast builds, and awesome features like build previews upon pull requests. That saved a large amount of time when reviewing my colleague's code. Also, Netlify functions enabled us to have smaller server-side code helpers developing and running very easily.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

Publishing branch deploy will publish that build as it was master, not regarding my subdomain. It would be much better if the branch publishes could only reflect on the branch subdomain. Also, in the past, we had situations where our packages were not always updated and package.json and package-lock.json files weren't regarded, we contacted the support and they manually cleared out the cache on our build, but soon after that package updates were working as expected.
The most frustrating thing happened with some occasional downtimes when clients are expecting our products to be online, and the only thing we can do is wait and hope Netlify teams fix it soon. Lately, downtimes are quite rare.
When it comes to the product design, Netlify's latest front page UI seems kind of odd, and in contrast with the dashboard and I don't like it that light.

**Recommendations to others considering Netlify:**

Save your time and yourself from frustration managing various Jenkins builds. Set up your Netlify builds in a matter of minutes and forget about it. Use Slack notifications for build alerts and enjoy.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without Netlify we had to set up a Linux server to host our frontend app and then create a Jenkins build to automatically deploy on any merge to master or staging branch. Netlify simplified a whole lot of work.

 ### 13. Overpriced, terrible service

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

Netlify as a CMS is great. My dev team loves it.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

Customer service is horrible. And amidst COVID-19, just after announcing a massive round of funding, Netlify isn't doing anything to help their clients. Their recent change in pricing structure is not scalable, they're not flexible, and again, the customer service is terrible. Last year, they promised 50 builds per minute and our account never performed based on how we paid. Overall, we're looking for a new solution.

**Recommendations to others considering Netlify:**

Know that it's expensive and comes with little to no support, slow responses times (sometimes you don't ever get one). Their contracts aren't clear and they don't fulfill them.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrates well with GitHub, but lots of platforms like Netlify do

 ### 14. Fast and efficient for html websites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gavin H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

Automated site deploys from Github make it really easy to deploy your site. Simply push onto the correct branch and it magically deploys. You can go onto a console to see exactly what is happening with the deploy but I usually dont need to do that as it just works. Deploys usually take under a minute to get from my development machine to live in production.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

I am using hugo with netlify which requires a greater level of technical skill than wordpress but it builds fast sites.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We moved our site from wordpress and its now a lot quicker.

 ### 15. Netlify, The Amazing Static Host

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brent R. | Software Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

Netlify gives generous limits on its free tier. It is enough to run a small or even medium business for free. They provide a lot of value added offerings as well, like Lambda's, Form submissions and even per Request Analytics. Not only that, but they also let you use free offerings like Formspree or Auth0 if you don't want to use their built-in platform. It even gives you a complete build pipeline to push your builds into for free! Although there are limits, it would still allow you to build an average site everyday of the month without hitting the caps. If that weren't enough, you have access to webhooks so that you can do a conditional build, respond form submissions and other stuff. This is a solid platform that needs to be recognized for its excellence, did I mention free SSL and Custom Domains on the free tier! If that weren't enough, you can also control the headers like CSP, Redirects and others.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

Honestly, there is not much to dislike. The documentation can be a bit vague around events like Form Submissions or Functions in general, but if your familiar with AWS Lambda's it's not that big a problem.

**Recommendations to others considering Netlify:**

If you have or are building a static website. Netlify is definitely the way to go. The features of the Free Tier are amazing, especially when other PaaS products are used.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am providing small to medium-sized businesses free to low-cost website hosting on this platform. I have several templates to draw from and I get amazing results on this host due to their integration into Cloud Front. Teamed up with Cloudinary, it is a killer Cloud-Native platform.

 ### 16. I have so many great things to say about this company.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garrett W. | Design Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

You get a lot ( A LOT) just out of the free plan. The connection between developer tools is seamless. Connecting your custom domain and getting sub-domains takes less than 5 minutes to set up. I could launch a website with Netlify faster than you can make a cup of coffee. Netlify forms is a blessing and being able to create links for each branch... ummm that's unbelievable.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

Only because I have a strong design background, I do with the UI was a tad better. That's only me being picky. Otherwise this product is so good. Nothing to dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Netlify:**

Let your developers use Netlify. They will be so much happier and you will get to see updates a lot faster. You can actually set up a live prod environment when building, so reduce room for error. It seriously the best.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TIME SAVER! I no longer have to spend an entire week working on devOps stuff. This really gives your developers super powers. Front End Developers are becoming more and more powerful with tools like these. I get prototypes shipped a lot faster and I actually enjoy my job when I get to work with Netlify.

 ### 17. Plan suddenly downgraded to starter without warnings, emails, or any communication from Netlify

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

The product is relatively easy to use and has team support.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

I've been a paid Netlify customer for the past year. All of a sudden, Netlify decided that I'm not a paid subscriber / account and downgraded me to a Starter Package. I can't seem to add teammates (or do much of anything with my account).

**Recommendations to others considering Netlify:**

Make sure that you understand they can yank your plan anytime without warning - Consider using an alternative. I'm still searching for alternatives right now.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple deployment for static sites

 ### 18. Great static hosting with very generous free tier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maximillian L. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

Free static site hosting with free custom domains and HTTPS support. They even give you free continuous builds and deployment.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

I haven't found anything about Netlify that I don't like so far. Keep in mind that it is for static sites only - though they just recently started supporting lambda functions as well.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I host most of my personal and business sites on Netlify because it is so easy to use. It has features that some other free static site hosts lack, such as custom redirect and HTTP header support.

 ### 19. One of the easiest way to deploy a website

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felipe C. | Digital Marketing Analyst - Blackboard / Rosetta Stone, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

Since I started using Github Pages I've been looking for other services to deploy static websites and Netlify is one of the best products I've found. Super easy to setup (and I don't have technical background) and their free tier is awesome. I've used Netlify for a personal project and at work as well. I needed to create a simple website to manage some content and serve as Landing Page for an event and in one morning I could make it available for the public to access. Awesome.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

The one thing I missed was a way to automatically deploy and update the website whenever I made a change. But it might be something I was missing and didn't not know how to configure. I had to run a command to deploy it, not sure there was another way to do it. It was a problema because the other people on our team didn't not know how to do it.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a small marketing team and we were on a short budget so we had to find a way to launch some landing pages and manage some content without spending too much. Netlify was perfect because I just needed to create a simple template using bootstrap, attaching to it a form from our marketing automation software and publish it on Netlify. It was flexible enough because I could use my own templates and I could use their free tier to do it. Great for a team that is short in budget.

 ### 20. Free and simple hosting for static sites

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riley W. | Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

My personal portfolio site is simple enough that I don't really want to pay for hosting. Netlify works great for this, I'm able to upload a zip folder with an index.html file inside and it is instantly online. I can also choose to connect a custom domain for free, which is great for me.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

I'm not able to push updates by uploading a ZIP folder from my phone. The only way you can do it is by dragging the folder, which I can't do from my phone.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to push updates to static websites at an unprecedented scale (either by the web upload or by automatic deploys through GitHub).

 ### 21. Great hosting for static sites - the hype is justified!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

Great features for deploying static sites either directly from a codebase or via a build pipeline. The added features for authentication, user accounts and more put Netlify almost in league of their own.
The company have also made it extremely simple to use most of their services, something which so many get wrong in over complicating their UIs and documentation.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

The services for more complex database driven websites are somewhat limited, so the hosting isn’t suitable for all kinds of websites and applications. Having said this, they don’t pretend to be and label themselves as being suitable for static sites (plus some integrated dynamic solutions).

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I am using Netlify as a single business owner/user, I am able to host a website for free with full access to their full-suite of offerings. Their free tier is incredibly good value, and will definitely lead to paid use in the future.

 ### 22. Best execution of cloud static hosting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

I was able to run numerous small projects without additional cost and global cdn deployment cannot be easier than Netlify.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**

Other than static serving, dynamic processing (server functions) is kinda tricky. Compared to now.sh, it’s little bit difficult.

**Recommendations to others considering Netlify:**

It is the best kind of service but in a very niche area.

**What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are a lot of times when small, https-protected mini-websites/services are needed while doing business. Netlify solves that niche area and also, great for small, personal projects.

 ### 23. Review for Netify

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Netlify?**

Netify sends you a notification whenever your phone switches network types, to keep you updated on the type of network you are connected to. It's also ad free which people love.

**What do you dislike about Netlify?**
