**What do you like best about MSC-LIMS?**

VERY affordable @ $750/seat/year for SQL version as of Feb 2019.  Easy set-up.  Tight integration with Microsoft Excel, so it is extremely easy to import instrument data or customize reports, Certificates of Analysis, etc.  Supports warning and result limits, sample label printing, and other must-have functionality.  Now supports Microsoft SQL Server, so very robust.  You can buy a full version with source code if you wish to customize.  It is very easy to understand the table structure, so I was able to create dashboards and pull-down menus to allow plotting any analyte results against any other results in Excel.  The program author answers any questions you have promptly.  Program has been sold for 20+ years so good history.  We are going to adopt this at a second site.

**What do you dislike about MSC-LIMS?**

It would be great if product would query Window size and automatically re-scale forms accordingly.
Adding more sophisticated plotting (cross-plotting) would be a plus.

**Recommendations to others considering MSC-LIMS:**

The author will provide a webinar where you can see how the product operates and ask any questions before committing.  Also you need only buy one license to try out, you can add more once you are committed and have completed configuration.

**What problems is MSC-LIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greatly increases availability of data by storing it on SQL server where it is more easily retrieved.
Also provides 'gates' for results by flagging them if outside warning and result limits.

**What do you like best about MSC-LIMS?**

I love your technical support! Anytime I was confused, we could call you and you were incredibly helpful. You really seem to care about your customers and making sure that they're getting the best experience with the product. 

**What do you dislike about MSC-LIMS?**

The cost! But I know that's inevitable. I wish the graphing software was a little more developed, but honestly, it's nice that it's there at all. It's not something you would necessarily expect with software like this. 

**Recommendations to others considering MSC-LIMS:**

I definitely recommend!! Wonderful job, msc-lims.


**What problems is MSC-LIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that we can still use third-party reporting tools because the lab is really familiar with another program, so it's really nice to be able to do this.
