Not very intuitive but ok. It seem s the goals section causes the most confusion and it is not readily apparent how to set up email notifications for users. **Recommendations to others considering Mitratech Perform:** Be sure to think through th eprocess, will groups need different templates or will one or two templates be sufficient. Who will manage the addition and inactivation of new employees. Be sure to think through the goals and if you wnat company wide goals or individual. Remember that once reviews are started you CANNOT change the template. **What problems is Mitratech Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Once set up the system works well. We are in Sydney, Australia and were able to have effective communication with the Trakstar implementation team, big thank you to Matt, during the whole set up. The GoToMeetings were excellent for the communication and set up. The ability to customise templates, goal setting and interactivity for all staff and managers. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Perform?** There is not much to dislike, The we have customised templates and will review their usefulness over the next 12 months. It can be a bit daunting in the beginning, however customer support is great and we got were we wanted to be. What's new video does pop up every time I start Trakstar. **Recommendations to others considering Mitratech Perform:** I would highly recommend early staff engagement in the set up of templates. Briefing of managers on how to assess their staff is very important. The managers need to ensure that they provide coaching tips and assistance for staff that needs improvement. Briefing of staff on the rating system is very important to ensure that they understand how the rating is used by themselves and the mangers. **What problems is Mitratech Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to improve business effectiveness of our staff. This required that staff had to be more realistic in self assessment of their capabilities. Staff, in particular the younger members, appreciated the ability to leave notes and receive more detailed feedback. Interaction with staff in appreciating their strength and weakness has improved. In general a more professional behaviour within the organisation has been achieved. ### 3. I can easily adjust on the fly and create templates to make creating new review forms quick and easy. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Perform?** The user interface is not as intuitive as I initially thought once I started using it. It took a while to figure out where to go and how to make changes. Once I did navigate around for a bit it got easier and easier. **What problems is Mitratech Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We took our check-ins off excel spreadsheets and into this system. We solved for ease of use, easy to make mass updates, reporting features we never had before, and automatic reminders and updates making admin a bit easier as well. ### 6. It makes the end product that much more effective because the notes are in real time, include specific details, and are created when events are fresh in your mind. It is a much more comprehensive approach. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Perform?** There isn't much to dislike about the product. It is straightforward and requires very little training. Reviews are assigned by positions so it's tricky to do QC/QA. **Recommendations to others considering Mitratech Perform:** Make sure all employees are loaded with correct titles and that you get consensus with your leaders on review content early in the process. **What problems is Mitratech Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Again, haven't rolled it out yet, but I am anticipating the ease of our field office employees completing reviews, and more opportunities for senior leaders to discuss results before reviews are rolled down. ### 8. When I look at other tools they have integrations with outlook and other email platforms that allow for ongoing feedback which I think makes it easier to complete comprehensive reviews. I also think while it is straight forward in some ways, it is cumbersome in others. Normally I skip product reviews entirely, but I had to say something. It is not clear to me who has done a self-review, who I am waiting on for signatures, etc. It could be WAY clearer, the reports neater, more presentable. I hate the little asterisks by things. They're terrible. Create clear headings and put peoples names in columns. We looked at many other platforms but didn't like the functionality or how many features were offered, as we wanted to keep things very light. Reviewsnap really focuses on performance reviews and how to do it well. There are other functionalities that are great, but all lead to how to improve that process. The support that we received was exceptionally good. The Reviewsnap staff helped us with the implementation, and continue to be available when we run into issues. The electronic routing and sign off ensures all who need to review and esign, do, and once finalized it can be printed or stored and employees always have access to their own review. The notes section is helpful for managers to keep notes throughout the year for use in the review process. There were a lot of open fields for employees to get in which confused them a bit. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Perform?** Maybe more customization features that we can do on our own. There are some items we could do away with. There are various fields were not using and having that many fields that are blank confuse some employees. **Recommendations to others considering Mitratech Perform:** Pay close attention to admin training. Previous software did not allow the ability to customize. We also recently found that ad hoc appraisals are easy to set up and use which allows us to add evaluations for different projects rather than twice a year. ### 46.
