Recommendations to others considering Frederick:
Please read my review, if you're looking to be able to do basic things like have the ability to set up your own email templates, the ability to change font (how is this not possible???), the ability to set up a drip campaign based on the customers actions - i.e. opened, not opened, clicked, not clicked, etc...this is not available on Frederick. You have to use their SmartLists that they set up for you, but none of these are based on customer actions from the campaigns you set up, they are all based on past visits to your location or sales. Frederick is at least 10 years behind other software, some of which is free (MailChimp). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is Frederick solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, the only benefit I see to this is the ability to send messages/promotions to your customers via text. Other than that, the rest of the software is a complete nightmare. It is missing basic features that are FREE with MailChimp or other software like the ability to set up your own email templates, the ability to change font (how is this not possible???), the ability to set up a drip campaign based on the customers actions - i.e. opened, not opened, clicked, not clicked, etc...this is not available on Frederick. The reporting is all messed up and when I opened a ticket with them, I was told they would look into it and find out why its showing that one phone number called my business 28 times in one minute...never heard back from them. Although customer support is great, I feel bad for the people on the phone because their hands are tied, the answer I heard most of the time was "we are working on that."
