Frederick Reviews & Product Details

Frederick is a really great online marketing tool that connects with my customer database, making it super easy to reach out to my clients through email and phone. I use it mostly to ask for feedback and send special offers, and since I been using Frederick, I’ve noticed that my customers engage more with my business. It’s really helped to increase my business and the profits too. The tool is easy to use and it’s now a essential part of my marketing strategy. One thing I don’t like about Frederick is that it can sometimes feel a bit limited in customization. I wish there was more options to personalize emails or messages. Also, the interface can be a little confusing at times, specially for beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am a customer of a business that is using MindBody and HireFredericks. Unfortunately I've just been given the choice of either:

1. Confirming my mobile number (which I'm happy to do) but this requires I authenticate with my google account and grant HireFredericks the ability to add/edit/update/delete all my contacts and all my calendars!!! WTF?!?

2. Being unable to use the waitlist functionality :-( Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part of this software are the support people, they try to bend backwards to help you, unfortunately their hands are completely tied as this software doesn't have basic features that MailChimp and other have had for at least a decade! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. There is very little to no integration with MindBody (unlike what the sales rep will tell you)

2. There are MANY duplicate features with MindBody that do no merge, and in the end you end up either contacting your client twice for the same information, or have to manually re-enter date. For example, referrals. Frederick has its own referral program, and MindBody has its own referral program, so if Frederick sends out a text to ask your clients to refer someone, when they come in to refer their friend, you have to manually set up that referral relationship in MindBody so that the original client gets the referral points you assign.

3. The reviews that Frederick asks for again do not translate to anywhere except Frederick. So if you want a MindBody review, your client has to write the MindBody review in the app, and then they will also receive a Frederick text to review...and then on top of that, if you want a google review or facebook review you AGAIN have to ask your client for that separately. The only thing Frederick does is asks the client if they want to be taken to your Google page to share a review, but the review your client already spent time giving you does not show up ANYWHERE. You can add a string of code to your website to show the Frederick reviews, but no one trusts website reviews! People want to see impartial reviews on Google where you can't unpublish the bad ones. I like that they take care of some of the busy work - they contact customers via email and text and ask for feedback regarding their service, if the feedback was excellent they ask the customer if they would leave a review on one of the major review sites like Yelp, Facebook, or Google. Also, they send out automated emailings to customers offering them discounts to entice them to book our services. There is a great deal of customization offered in terms of price, frequency, whether we want to offer service packages, They also include a web page that was very quickly ranked highly in google searches for our business. Their tiered pricing system is a little strange to me - the first 500 customers is $50 a month, and for every 500 people you add the price goes up $50. We're a small business and when the time comes we will take a hard look at whether this service is worth keeping on when the price takes a jump again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
