The one area we need Metomic in doesn't currently have an available integration with their product. I look forward to being able to integrate with Salesforce for DLP so that we don't have to purchase another product so that we can use a single product for our DLP. The best post for me has really been around their approach to privacy by design and by default in their implementation. Over what is already a clean and minimalist product in an ecosystem of highly complex solutions, with Metomic you are able to get insights that don't overly have you worry about increased risk from adding such a supplier to your ecosystem. I wouldn't really say there is something outright I dislike about Metomic. I think it will be great if they extend more on the features that allow their service to talk to a wider set of InfoSec and Data Privacy tools e.g. SIEM integrations and SAML 2.0 SSO authentication. Metomic is a company that truly listens to its customers, and then they execute on and deliver what they promise. They are not the type of organization that over promises and under-delivers - quite the opposite. They are great people to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Depending on which features you purchase, you may find some overlap in your tooling. For the most part, Metomic just does it better. For example, their rules engine makes setting up new rules very straightforward. On occasion, some of their classifiers are over-aggressive, but they will work with you to find the correct balance between false positives and finding things that need proper remediation. Metomic offers a wide range of popular SaaS tool integrations; the UI is excellent; the rule creation is intuitive and powerful, but the best thing is that they listen to customer feedback and answer any questions with detail and thought! Not anything I dislike, but they are working extremely hard to develop new and improve current integrations, and this takes time to complete.

I enjoy the ease of quickly creating some DLP rules and the automation options that come with the rules, such as alerting the end user and the security team. Alerting the end user is a great way for a business to educate on how to share data properly. I think the portal for reviewing alerts needs some work, but it is constantly being improved upon. I'm glad that Metomic is always accepting customer feedback. Efficiently safeguard sensitive data across multiple applications. The ability to alert/warn "the author" helps drive good security culture by pointing people to the expected actions without the security team being gatekeepers or supervisors.

Metomic integrate with plenty of mainstream SaaS tools and their detectors work well to identify sensitive data in those environments. It gives me peace of mind to know that a single detection/response to secrets such as AWS keys in an unapproved environment can quickly avoid a major security breach and brings clear ROI.
