## About Medwriter
Medwriter.ai is an AI medical scribe that listens to patient-clinician conversations and automatically generates structured clinical notes. It's built for providers who want to spend less time on documentation and more time with patients. The platform captures visits in real time — whether in-person or via telehealth — and drafts comprehensive, billing-ready notes across standard clinical sections (HPI, assessment, plan, etc.). Templates are specialty-specific and customizable, so notes match how individual providers actually document. Where Medwriter differentiates itself is in going beyond just scribing. It auto-suggests ICD-10 codes and E/M levels based on session content, and can generate administrative documents like prior authorizations, denial appeals, referral letters, and patient instructions — tasks that typically eat up significant time outside of visits. The platform integrates with major EHR systems and works across devices including mobile and tablet. It supports multi-lingual documentation and telehealth sessions. Medwriter is HIPAA-compliant with encryption, configurable data deletion, and a BAA included. For group practices, it offers team management, activity logging, and shared templates. **What do you like best about Medwriter?**

I am a nurse practitioner in mental health and use Medwriter for my charting and documentation. It has significantly cut down on my time to document and strengthened my documentation with a custom template to include necessary items. It's very thorough with psychiatry and easy to use, and I can customize templates as well. Medwriter's advanced terminology and ability to help identify treatment modalities, like therapeutic interventions, are incredibly helpful. The extension that allows me to push notes to the EHR enhances my ease of use greatly. I love how intuitive Medwriter is and how much better my notes read with its psychiatry-focused terminology and modalities. The initial setup was very easy, and the variety of available templates is awesome as they are always improving and growing.

**What do you dislike about Medwriter?**

I recommended today that it would be great to have an internal clinic specific dictionary, so that when we are talking with our patients and they refer to their therapist by name I would love to have MedWriter pick up on this to Include their credentials with their name.

**What problems is Medwriter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Medwriter for charting and documentation in mental health. It saves me time, strengthens documentation with custom templates, identifies treatment modalities, and integrates seamlessly with our EHR using a Chrome extension. It's intuitive, thorough with psychiatry, and has customizable and ever-improving templates.
