InsightSquared has been really helpful in visualizing data, setting forecasts and goals for sales teams, and seeing historical trends using information directly derived from Salesforce. It's allowed for a great deal of personalization in each dashboard as well, allowing people to cater the data to their specific needs. Not a downside specific to InsightSquared, but I think to be able to fully utilize this tool you need to have a solid understanding of your the software you are trying to optimize, and what is driving the data you are trying to show.
