I used MahaOnline Portal for applying for the cast certificate from the Government of Maharashtra, If you want any other certificate from the Government of Maharashtra then also by applying online on this portal you will get your certificate with a digital signature under the stipulated time and also on the same portal you can apply to varies Government Schemes. What do you like best about MahaOnline?

You can track your application or service request and you will also get a mail alert if your application is getting rejected for any reason. so, you can upload the necessary documents which are needed to resubmit your application form. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MahaOnline?

Sometimes, the departmental clerks are not specifying clear guidelines or reasons for which the application is returned. Chatbots are present on some services but do not give clear information (Answers for limited questions are available). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MahaOnline solving and how is that benefiting you?

Previously, if we wanted to take benefit of any government scheme then we need to go to Setu Office/ Government office for an application. The big problem was that the government officials are taking a lot of money for approving applications. but with the help of MahaOnline Portal, it is not needed to visit any government office or pay them extra to get our work done. by paying online fees on this portal you will get your required service/work done in prespecified time. "MAHAONLINE: A perfect place to get all important government documents right from your home"

In 2021 all Indians were locked down in homes due to the severe second wave of the covid-19 pandemic. All government offices were working at 50% of their capacity. So it is difficult to apply for an income certificate for the financial year 2020-21 by the offline procedure. At that tough time, mahaonline helped me to get my income certificate right from the comfort of my home with very less fees. I used the mahaonline facility through the citizen portal. What do you like best about MahaOnline?

1. This service is provided by the government directly to citizens so all documents issued are authentic and legal.

2. We get all required government documents such as income certificate, age nationality domicile certificate, birth certificate, death certificate etc. online without visiting the office.

3. The cost for applying for each certificate is also less and is decided by the government itself so users don't need to pay any extra commission to anyone to get the document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MahaOnline?

No, cons were noticed but would like to give a few suggestions:

1. The stipulated time to get documents issued is quite long and sometimes documents get issued beyond the timespan declared by the government.

2. The facility is available for citizens of Maharashtra state only. Citizens need to apply separately for central government documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering MahaOnline:

As this service applies to citizens of Maharashtra only so I would recommend this service to everyone to get their documents online from home at a very less cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MahaOnline solving and how is that benefiting you?

1. Nowadays every part of the world is getting digitalized so the government also putting lots of effort to provide its services to citizens online its admirable.

2. All documents we get through the online portal are equally valid and the same which are issued offline or via offices.

3. While applying offline it takes a lot of time to arrange a hard copy of documents, to get forms from the offfice, properly & accurately fill the forms, submit the form by waiting hours in queue etc. all this time is saved by this portal.

4. If your application is rejected due to a fault in the application citizen can appeal again by making necessary changes to it.

What do you like best about MahaOnline?

MahaOnline Portal is connected to DigiLocker. So we don't need to carry any documents and scan them to upload. Just by login into DigiLocker, we can submit the required documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MahaOnline?

Although I expected to receive a digital copy of my certificate. But they have called me to be present at the nearest police station to collect my certificates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
