What problems is OneSix solving and how is that benefiting you?

One Six came in and performed an assessment of our current data warehouse including: specifications, feeds both in and out, resources, logins, historical performance, and scripts. They were then able to stabilize and perform improvements that were nothing short of miraculous! Our data warehouse had been requiring over 120 hours of personnel per month of support and was still going down on a weekly basis. What do you like best about OneSix?

What do you dislike about OneSix?

The only thing I could come up with for here is weekly invoicing. Weekly gets to be time consuming from a process standpoint and monthly would be preferred. I do understand their reasoning, and it is much easier to keep tabs of project time compared to their proposed hours and such though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Describe the project or task OneSix helped with:

We hired One Six to help us implement and embed a BI product into the Learning Management System (LMS) we sell to our clients.

They were engaged to advise on architecture, build data models, assist with best practices and documentation, launch the product, and help us learn about the BI product we had chosen. They worked hand-in-hand with our development team through this process and stayed post-launch to help harden the system and stabilize our teams' engagement with internal stakeholders and clients alike. What do you like best about OneSix?

One of my favourite things about One Six is their willingness to work with us on whatever we need. Early on in the project, we determined we needed an additional tactical resource instead of an advisory one, and One Six happily switched out resources for us, ensureing we had what we needed to complete the project.

Another thing I liked about the resources we did engage with was how easily they fit in with our team. We have found them to be personable, accommodating, and highly skilled in their areas of expertise, and we couldn't have completed the project without them as we didn't have the experience on the team. What do you dislike about OneSix?

I can't think of anything that I have been unhappy with, it's unfortunate we couldn't give them more access to our LMS code, but then they didn't have the training in the languages we use, and our company is quite protective with access to this code. Having said that, One Six did say they were willing to learn to help us out there; and didn't think it would be too hard for them to get up to speed, we just chose not to take them up on it because it was a fast-moving project, and there was enough work elsewhere where we could use their skillsets. I've used One Six at two companies I've worked for so far. One to help setup the data warehouse and all the ETL processes associated with it, and the other to help setup the reports and dashboards in PowerBI to bring visual analytics to our sales and operations team, nationwide. What do you like best about OneSix?

The partnership I've experienced in solving our actual problems, not just doing what I say and think is needed. They dig in and help understand the problem, how to think about it, provide the best technical options of how to solve it, then execute as quickly as possible with me included along the way. OneSix is very responsive and able to solve problems quickly as they arose. They remained in very good communication and were very flexible in providing what we wanted. Instead of them hunting for data and manually inputting it into our software, we set up a data flow so that info would come over automatically.
