Wherever your file is it will find it. Same for any dialogue box. I don’t have to think where I saved something. I just need to remember a partial name . As long as you name your files even remotely meaningfully , Listary turns your whole system into an instantly searchable library. **What do you dislike about Listary?** sometimes the file is found but opening it take a long time. Sometimes clearing windows cache helps othertimes not. **What problems is Listary solving and how is that benefiting you?** My problem - finding and accessing files quickly. How its solving - by letting me jump to any folder, find any file from any dialogue box. Instead of wasting time navigating folders, digging through directory trees trying to find a file, i just press control twice and find it instantly. ### 2. This is a huge time-saver, especially if you have documents/files nested within multiple folders. Some people who are a bit too concerned about data security may find it concerning to have a third party app have access to their files. It helped me accelerate and remove the burden of finding and organizing folders and files. It always shows the file and folder that I intend to use. I really love the web and systems macros too. **What do you dislike about Listary?** I would love it if the software shows in the office applications, it's easy to get to the file explorer, but a direct view in MS Word or Excel at home will be the cherry top. Listary is very light and easy to install and almost does not consume resources from our computer, searches are usually very fast and we can see the results as we type. From any window or folder we can search in all disk units, the results are displayed instantly and by right clicking we can see all the action options that we can execute for that search result, within which we can send by email, copy, cut or move to another location, also if we find a software allows us to install it directly. Listary makes it a lot easier to search and find and even select and open files and programs faster. I kept thinking I needed to open it myself and then it would prompt me "listary is running in the background". Then why did it add a desktop short cut?
