The universality- attaching a file in thunderird, just browse and double tap control. Wherever your file is it will find it. Same for any dialogue box.
I don’t have to think where I saved something. I just need to remember a partial name . As long as you name your files even remotely meaningfully , Listary turns your whole system into an instantly searchable library.

Amazing productivity with this little powerful app
I love that it shows up in every file selection window. It helped me accelerate and remove the burden of finding and organizing folders and files. It always shows the file and folder that I intend to use. The usability and the little details to open the location of the files and all the options it makes stellar. I really love the web and systems macros too.

The best thing about Listary is the ease with which it helps you locate files because it integrates seamlessly with Windows Explorer and other file managers to effortlessly jump between folders and open files. The search can be performed just by typing the first few letters of the filename and you can even set up hotkeys for launching Listary. This is a huge time-saver, especially if you have documents/files nested within multiple folders. Sometimes, Listary can even locate files that Windows search is unable to find.
