It's wonderful to get to see the different resources that are available to you, but it's even better to be able to see what your co-workers are engaging with and using for their development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think that the suggested options tailored for me aren't always very accurate to what I'm interested in and want to find -- perhaps when there are more users or there is more content the algorithm for recommendations will improve Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The option of making suggestions/requests for new books and content to be acquired through the platform, and actually feeling that I am being listened and taken into account is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are many entries in the platform of items that are no longer available for acquisition, which makes the navigation through the platform a bit annoying at times. It would be great to know when an item is unavailable before going into its page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is the freedom to choose training courses which are of personal interest. It is also possible to recommend courses to be added to those available. Relevant quality courses do generally get accepted to be added. The support through online chat is generally prompt and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to add courses seem to sometimes fall through the cracks. On various occasions, there was no clear response for a lengthy period (sometimes weeks) on whether recommended courses were accepted or rejected. When escalating this to the online chat one would get referred to another email address from which however one rarely receives a reply. Sometimes a different course than the one requested was added by mistake. To be fair, most requests were accepted but only after a fair amount of chasing. There is a sense that these requests are not being tracked in a structured manner. Another annoyance is the way that the pricing for courses for which there are regular discounts, such as Udemy, is managed. Udemy has frequent discounts seeing their courses offered for around EUR 12 or so. However, the pricing for the same courses in Learnably would reflect non-discounted pricing, say EUR 70. This means that if you currently have, say, EUR 50 budget available and want to apply for a course currently on discount, you would require approval for exceeding the budget whereas, in reality, you wouldn't be exceeding the budget at all. Adding to the frustration, it might happen that by the time approval is granted the course is no longer on discount. A better way would be to get a more real-time check on the price and whether the budget is going to be exceeded and only enforce an approval in that case. To be fair, I appreciate that the technical implementation of this use case can be a bit tricky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease at which you can access invaluable tools that help you develop areas you would like to improve. For me I love the number of books on here (as I'm a big reader), but also have enjoyed access to The School of Life resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My only dislike is that it's not very easy to search by topic and medium at the same time. For example, I'd like to look for management but only courses - the searchability element could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All books are available. The platform is easy to use. Customer support was good! The interface is simple and nice, and looks friendly too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not dislike... just things to think about!

1) That my manager has to approve stuff.

2) For Kindle books, it would be better if there was an instruction on how to better redeem the books - re-sent the email to your personal email and open the Amazon link from there.

3) I'd like to have a Grammarly subscription on Learnerbly.

4) Free articles are strange. If they are free, I don't need Learnerbly for them.

5) I have spent all my Learnerbly allowance (£7 left from the initial £500) and yet Learnerbly sends me emails about what I should learn next - there is no point... I have no company money in my account. For further education, I will pay with my own money, so I don't need Learnerbly for that = the emails don't work. But feel free to spam my manager saying my account can be refilled!

The name is difficult to pronounce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can pick how to use my learning budget, the playlist is useful and is good to add a new playlist or update current ones from the company. I have used a couple from King around Data Science and Game Design. That not all the content is paid, having more free content would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Requesting new content doesn't create a ticket for following up on what happened with the suggestion. I'm in charge of the UX and UI craft in my team and I'm constantly suggesting stuff in Learnerbly but I have no way to see how that is going on, is it approved/rejected/in progress? it would be good to add that.

You have removed a lot of content that previously it was in the platform, it would be great if you can fight for having it back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Well-curated resources organised into sections gives you a strong ability to find things that are relevant to your learning journey. Company-specific learning resources also gives you the ability to learn together as teams. Varied resources - books, subscriptions to other learning resources, training courses, etc. means you can almost always find what you want, and it doesn't take too long to request something that's outside of learnerbly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The actual purchase process is not automated, so when you request a resource, it may take a variable amount of time to actually receive what you have requested - if you want something urgently (i.e. a kindle book) you may still be waiting a while from approval to receipt. It's usually only a few hours in working time, however, and is not an unreasonable thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Anything I order usually comes very quickly, and the recommendations always help me when I am stuck on what would be helpful for work. I like the feature of being able to see what other people have bought, as well as having the option not to share if it is sensitive. I am quite impressed with the different topics to pick from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As great as the recommendations are, there are a lot of hidden gems that I have only found out through colleagues that they bought the book and found it useful, but these have only been found by searching, rather than recommendations. Also, not sure where I can track my items, maybe this is in an email but it doesn't say once you have placed an order on the site. I also don't like how ebook prices are given first when I most of the time prefer a digital copy but then when I open them it says a different price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Learnerbly is very useful for accessing resources related to business and improving employee learning and development. There is a wide range of resources available and the process for purchasing and accessing these resources is quick and seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The resources available are sometimes limited. This may be decided by the business rather than being an issue with Learnerbly as a whole. The portal is not that easy to navigate and I have had trouble being able to view a list of resources by type (Book, course, article, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy for me to decide for myself which areas I want to focus on for my development. It's great to be able to see what others in my company and role are using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's not much not to like. I've occasionally had books be unable to order as they're not available or out of stock, but this is rare. It would be good to be able to look at my teams orders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
