It's great to be able to add GIFs and funny pictures, and schedule the card to automatically send to the recipient(s) when complete. It's also easy for colleagues to add a post without creating an account, or to create an account for future cards. **What do you dislike about Kudoboard?** 1. I wish the basic board allowed a few more responses. Sometimes we end up purchasing the upgrade just to add 1-2 people, which adds friction to the process (e.g., completing payment and submitting an expense report). 2. I sometimes run into issues where the cards don't line up and it looks a little messy - it would be nice to be able to add cute fillers with confetti or other pictures in between cards. 3. I don't like that I have to log out to create a "from the team" post without my own name attached to it. I have issues with Kudoboard deleting my message if I'm taking too long to write it, so I need to always be copy pasting the message somewhere else in case I hit "send" and it glitches, and the message is lost forever. As someone who has worked remotely for over ten years, I appreciate how easy it is to connect everyone for a single purpose. I would use Kudoboard if I weren't working remotely - it's so much easier to manage than sneaking a card around the office to collect messages. And it's better than a plain text card. You can easily add graphics, animations and videos. I use Kudoboard internally to bring our remote team together for celebrations (work anniversaries, new babies, birthdays, etc.). We even send Kudoboards to our clients when we want to introduce the entire team without flying everyone on site or want to congratulate them on a milestone. **What do you dislike about Kudoboard?** I don't have any complaints. I have been using Kudoboard personally and professionally for quite some time. But remote work is not an excuse not to recognize contributions and milestones. I wish they had better bundles for premium boards and did moreso an unlimited board for a monthly fee! By automating the delivery of the e-card, I don't have to worry about the timing once the card is set up. With choices for backgrounds and many other personalization options, each card can be geared toward an individual recipient and occasion. It removes the hassle of collecting funds for a gift by providing an online opportunity for participants to donate, depending upon the event. **What do you dislike about Kudoboard?** Make sure that you familiarize yourself with all of the administrative settings. If you inadvertently set the tool to review all of the comments before they get posted, you will confound participants whose posts won't show until you approve them. I found it better to turn off this feature and to trust that all posts (for birthdays, showers, anniversaries, etc.) were positive. **What problems is Kudoboard solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a remote-first organization with employees disbursed throughout the United States. For example, using emojis within a message.
