# Coupa vs Procurify for a mid-size company that wants procurement software without a six-figure implementation bill?

Quick read on the two named tools, plus two lighter alternatives worth a look.

And for Procurify users, how long did your setup actually take?

We went through this exact debate. Coupa kept coming up in our research but every time we dug into what implementation actually looked like, it felt like a 12-18 month project with a systems integrator, which just wasn't realistic for us. Ended up going with something lighter and yeah we gave up some features, but we were actually live and using it in a few months instead of still being in "phase 1." For a lot of mid-size teams the opportunity cost of a long implementation is just as real as the dollar cost.
