**What do you like best about Guusto?**

The team has been great to work with and has provided wonderful customer service. The process to onboard and integrate with workday, while time consuming, has been very smooth! I really like the ease of use of the portal and all of the administrative features like providing quarterly budgets to other workspaces, not allowing folks to send to themselves, only allowing sending to wayfair email addresses, and the visual and useful reporting tools.

**What do you dislike about Guusto?**

There are only two downsides so far: 

1) The process to fund accounts is not as smooth as with all of our other vendors. I don't like the extra step of having to send an email to request an invoice. All of our other vendors attach the invoice on the backend within coupa without requiring this additional step of our team. This is something our team is not used to having to do and I am afraid it is going to continue to cause issues (already has). 

2) Our previous digital gift card vendor automatically converted currencies prior to sending GCs - e.g. if I am sending a GC to someone in the UK, I select to send a $100 GC in pounds and it tells that I am being charged $75 USD for it and the employee will automatically receive it in their local currency. This really seems like a baseline expectation to offer.

The biggest problem that Guusto has solved for us is how easy it makes gifting to our employees - we are thrilled to finally have a gift card solution that notifies employees via text and also has a printable QR code redemption option. This has gone a long way to make providing employee rewards accessible to our deskless employee base.

The dashboard feels clean and intuitive, and getting the program up and running took far less time than I expected—there was no lengthy onboarding process or technical hassle. What stands out most is the flexibility it offers both senders and recipients: managers can send recognition instantly via email or SMS, and employees can choose their own rewards from hundreds of merchants, so the reward actually feels personal. The budget controls are another highlight. Being able to run multiple programs in parallel, each with its own budget and spending limits, makes it straightforward to manage across teams without things getting messy. I also appreciate that unclaimed gifts are credited back in full, which means there’s no wasted budget.

**What do you dislike about Guusto?**

As an admin, the biggest limitation for me is customization. There isn’t much flexibility to tailor the platform’s look and feel to match our brand identity, and that would help the overall experience feel more cohesive for employees. I’ve also found that some of the more advanced features aren’t immediately obvious and require a bit of digging to locate, so a more guided onboarding flow for admins would be helpful. In addition, gift card availability varies by region, which can occasionally limit the options available to team members in certain locations.

Guusto has solved the age-old challenge of making employee recognition feel genuinely meaningful without creating an administrative burden for the team running it. Before Guusto, coordinating rewards involved manual steps, chasing down contact information, and relying on generic gifts that didn’t really resonate with recipients. Now it’s just a few clicks, and the reward is delivered instantly wherever the employee is—whether they’re at a desk or out on the frontline.

From an admin perspective, the budget controls and real-time tracking provide much-needed visibility into how recognition spending is distributed across teams, which makes it easier to ensure no one is being overlooked. The integration with tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams also helps recognition happen where employees already work, increasing visibility and participation without requiring anyone to log into yet another platform.

I use Guusto for milestone things like work anniversaries and hitting targets, which helps in a busy workplace where recognition can be easily postponed. I like that Guusto is quick and actually gets used because it allows for immediate recognition without needing to set aside time or get approvals. It really makes people feel seen for their contributions and reinforces positive behavior. The account creation was very clear and easy with no technical issues. With more than 10,000 people at my company, it's nice to have a tool that works well for our size.

The interface is so easy to use , even for anyone with limited IT confidence.  Once you select your chosen retailer the gift certificate is instant , no waiting at all.

The option to save time and not have to wait for a PIN to be sent to your email does NOT work. Every time I select the box that says "remember this computer for next time" I still have to wait for  PIN every single time I log in.This creates frustration and takes away form user satisfaction.
