# Which video hosting platforms do marketing teams trust for seamless video embedding?

For anyone here who evaluates video hosting for marketing teams specifically: Trying to get a read on which video hosting platforms marketing teams actually trust for embedding video into websites, emails, and campaigns day to day, not just which one has the biggest feature list. Current G2 ratings puts Wistia at 4.6/5, Vidyard at 4.5/5, and Vimeo at 4.3/5.

Wistia: 4.6/5 (1,050+ reviews). Reviewers consistently cite a clear, easy-to-navigate interface and straightforward website embedding as reasons trust holds up over time, alongside stronger support ratings than the other two in this group.

Vidyard: 4.5/5 (825+ reviews). Trust here is tied to CRM-integrated tracking, engagement data logged directly into HubSpot or Salesforce, so marketing and sales teams see the same numbers.

Vimeo: 4.3/5 (700+ reviews). Reviewers point to password-protected pages and granular publish controls as the reason larger teams trust it with sensitive or client-facing video specifically; worth noting search queries increasingly point people toward Vimeo's own marketing pages directly rather than third-party reviews for this exact topic.

Wistia makes a lot of sense for marketing-led video because embedding is only one part of the workflow. Once videos are spread across landing pages and campaigns, being able to manage them easily becomes just as important. For teams that have used Wistia long term, which feature ended up becoming more useful than you initially expected?
