I needed a flexible database to plug into our Squarespace website. I selected Knack after reviewing a couple of other options and Knack was the best and most affordable fit. It is a robust system that during our usage over several years, has had no outage or major issues. What do you dislike about Knack? For use in the UK, they are not registered with the Information Commissioners Office. Therefore, that needs to be justified to large insitutions, that we are part of. We work in the scientific feild, with lots of disperate data, and studies that continually change. The flexibility of Knack enables us to introduce changes to the database quickly and easily. The database is very powerful and the page builder is very intuitive and simple. I love being able to go from an idea to a proof of concept so quickly. The reason we chose Knack is the ease of use for a non-techie. We run our business with Knack and have never written one line of code. Our company is 100% remote. So, a cloud-based data base with STRONG controls is exactly what we needed. Knack is FANTASTIC. I'd recommend it to anyone using connected Google Sheets or other organic systems.
