What I like best about Ketch is how intuitive and user-friendly the platform is while still offering powerful privacy and data governance capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

While Ketch is a strong platform overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some of the more advanced features have a learning curve, especially for new users who aren't familiar with privacy and compliance workflows.

**What problems is Ketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ketch helps solve the challenge of managing data privacy, customer consent, and regulatory compliance in a centralized, organized way. Instead of relying on manual processes or multiple disconnected tools, we can manage consent preferences, respond to privacy requests, and maintain compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA from a single platform. This has reduced administrative overhead, minimized compliance risk, improved operational efficiency, and given us greater confidence that we're handling customer data responsibly. It also allows our team to focus more on serving our customers instead of spending time tracking privacy requirements manually.

**What do you like best about Ketch?**

The tool is incredibly advanced and intuitive, but what’s even more valuable is the wonderful team they’ve brought together to help build it and train users on it. Their support feels unmatched compared with any other privacy platform on the market.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

Although it’s very comparable to competitors, the cost of the tool can be prohibitive for smaller players in the market who are looking for a reliable, advanced solution but don’t have the budget for a higher-priced option.

**What problems is Ketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an advanced CMP solution that was also easy to implement across our complex tech stack and products (web, mobile, and CTV). It also had to integrate with our authenticated (logged-in) experiences and connect to our DSR tool.

**What do you like best about Ketch?**

I like how easy it is to manage our jurisdictions and stay up to date with new privacy regulations using Ketch. There is a regulations page that updates frequently with new privacy laws that are coming online. Additionally, the initial setup of Ketch was very easy, which enhanced our overall experience. We feel that the tool is a good value relative to the price and we liked being able to customize the contract to get the features we needed. We evaluated several large vendors before purchasing Ketch.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

I wish it wouldn't pull in tags that aren't in use and are turned off in our Google Tag Manager.

**What problems is Ketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Ketch to manage cookie consent banners across our web properties. It helps us stay up to date with new privacy regulations, which I find easy to manage.

I like that Ketch offers a great free tier that's easy to use, especially for someone who's not technical. The intuitive and simple online experience helps me manage cookies and privacy policy effortlessly on our business's website. The ease of understanding and clear explanations allow me to use the website to the fullest, even though I've never developed a website before. The initial setup was very easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

I guess the easiest would be to have an MCP connection so that I can just talk to Claude, and it can set up everything needed for my website.

I use Ketch to manage cookies and privacy policies on our website with an intuitive, simple online experience. It's easy to use, even for someone not technical, allowing me to utilize the website fully.

I'm impressed with how it really understands our industry needs, allowing us to deploy across multiple platforms in just a few days. The initial setup was very easy, and we got our pilot sites up within a few hours.

TAG and tracker management can be improved to make it easier to scale. It also needs more visibility and greater control, particularly the ability to manage items at the site level rather than at the organization level.

**What do you like best about Ketch?**

I really appreciate the ease of use with Ketch. Transitioning from OneTrust, which seemed outdated, Ketch's intuitive UI felt seamless and perfect for our small team. The implementation process was incredibly fast, taking only about three weeks compared to the three months it took with our old vendor. The UI is very user-friendly, and the data rights automation flows are excellent, making life easier for our customer service team, which used to handle these tasks manually. I'm also impressed with the native integrations, particularly with Shopify, Klaviyo, Attentive, and Amplitude, which makes connecting all our systems simple. Working with Mike and his team on automating some of our data rights flows has been wonderful. Overall, Ketch has been working amazingly for us, and its ability to efficiently integrate with our tools and support our agencies has been great.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

Some of the things Ketch could improve on are just cookie scraping. They are missing a couple of our smaller cookies. They use DuckDuckGo for cookie classification, and finding cookies is probably the biggest issue I'm seeing at the moment.

Ketch solves consent management issues with ease of use, providing a seamless UI that caters to our small team. It offers efficient data rights automation for Shopify, saving us time and effort compared to our previous system, OneTrust.

Ketch is an easy to use product that's saving us money. It does everything we need it to and has a great integration with RudderStack, so it's easy for us to centralize consent capture and management across our entire customer data stack. Our web team and data team worked together to get ketch implemented in about a week. The Ketch was also great to work with getting us onboarded.

Customizing the design of the experience across every surface was a bit tricky to figure out.

The platform is very user-friendly and a breeze to use, making it very simple to make changes as regulations change. We are grateful for the periodic cookie scans and notifications of new trackers added to the site, especially since our content creators are located across multiple countries. Ketch provided a better user experience for implementation and reporting compared to Cookiebot. The setup process was quick and easy.

I really liked the support from the beginning and the clarity of the information for the implementation of Ketch. The service is very good. As for the platform, once you understand it, it is intuitive and easy to use. It has a quite clear UX/UI. The shared documentation and follow-up meetings were key, as there was always availability from Ketch, which facilitated the implementation process. Now I am able to make changes and adjustments without requesting support. The latest release greatly improved the UX, making it more logical for the user.

I can't think of anything to improve, everything is very good at the moment.

We’ve had a very positive experience with Ketch. The sales and integrations teams went above and beyond, supporting us for weeks after our originally planned go-live date due to delays on our end. Their guidance made the process seamless and stress-free.

The platform was straightforward to set up, and our integration lead was always available to answer questions and provide guidance via Slack. Our current use case is fairly simple—using Ketch for consent management—but implementation was smooth, and we’re excited to explore additional features in the future.

Some parts of the platform take a bit of time to get comfortable with. Certain editing features aren’t immediately obvious, and understanding how some functions are labeled or structured can require a bit of guidance. The lack of integration connections to key business functions for DSR workflows. There are quite a bit of manual tasks that I was hoping would be automatic. Also, the updates to the live site do not always deploy when making an edit to the banner or consent page which can be frustrating at times

The platform feels very robust and trustworthy. I can rest easy knowing that Ketch is installed on my site.

We’re on a startup plan and don’t have access to all the features, but in the UI I often run into dead ends when I click into things that aren’t included for us yet. It’s not the worst experience, but I really wish I could disable or hide those options so I’m not constantly bumping into them.

**What do you like best about Ketch?**

The UI for the CMP is much better than all other tools out there.  Plus, it is really easy to customize without requiring custom code.  Also, the customer support function is TOP NOTCH.  They are very quick to meet and help with a question or issue.  Lastly, the product is priced very competitively.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

The only thing that would make the tool better is if you didn't have to add the Ketch script to a website in order to scan for cookies.  However, getting a Ketch script on a website is really easy, so this isn't an issue at all.

**What problems is Ketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Ketch CMP helps with the ever-evolving cookie compliance landscape and is best suited to deter and defending against wiretapping litigation under laws like CIPA.  It provides more agility, swiftness, and insights than all other tools out there.

I like how comprehensive Ketch is. It feels like it has a lot of granular capabilities and built-in features that allow us to dig in and configure things correctly. We can really drill down and be as specific as we need to in creating our rule sets and customizing our experience. The support from the Ketch team also made it possible for us to explore all the different options and fine-tune everything in a timely manner, despite the complexity involved.

The complexity and the documentation does feel a little bit intimidating at first. There is a lot's going on in there, and it can be a bit daunting to approach.

**What do you like best about Ketch?**

Ketch provides a very strong, enterprise-ready consent and preference management platform that integrates well with complex ecosystems like Salesforce. We use Ketch as the system of record for consent and privacy topics, while Salesforce acts as the source of truth for customer and patient data.

What stands out most is Ketch’s flexibility in handling consent topics, jurisdictions, and downstream enforcement. The API-driven model makes it possible to reliably sync consent changes across systems, and the auditability around consent decisions is excellent. This has been especially valuable for regulatory compliance and internal governance.

The Ketch team has also been responsive and collaborative during implementation and troubleshooting, which is critical when consent flows are business-critical.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

Some integrations require more engineering effort than expected, particularly around OAuth token lifecycle management and error handling. Retry logic and replaying failed consent events typically need to be implemented on the client side, which adds operational complexity.

The UI is functional but could be more intuitive in certain administrative areas, especially when managing large numbers of topics or troubleshooting integration errors. Better native tooling for retries and monitoring would significantly reduce support overhead.

Would also have been great if there is a dupe management rules to filter out the records.

Ketch solves the challenge of centralized consent management across multiple platforms. Before Ketch, consent logic was fragmented and difficult to audit.

With Ketch in place:

Consent and preference decisions are centralized and consistent

Regulatory compliance (opt-in/opt-out enforcement) is significantly improved

Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and downstream systems receive clean, governed consent signals

Legal, marketing, and IT teams have clearer visibility and alignment

Overall, Ketch has helped us reduce compliance risk while enabling more confident use of customer data.

The product itself can feel a bit complicated if you’re not already familiar with compliance. That said, the banners are highly customizable, and the UX is fairly easy to use once you’ve received guidance and instructions from the rep. Our rep was instrumental in helping us succeed with this product.

It’s not especially intuitive, and there are a lot of steps involved in setting up a website on the platform. That said, once you’ve gone through it the first time, it becomes much easier to repeat the process for the next site.

What I like best about Ketch is that it brings privacy operations into one centralized platform. It helps make rights requests and cookie tracking more organized, easier to manage, and less dependent on manual workarounds. I also like that it offers flexible workflows and the support received by Ketch has been fantastic when we're testing various use cases.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

Building workflows and setting up jurisdictions in the data subject rights request module can take a fair amount of configuration and troubleshooting, particularly when you’re dealing with integrations or more customized workflows. A few parts of the experience haven’t always felt as intuitive as I’d like. That said, the product and support teams have been awesome and easy to reach whenever we needed help during testing. Overall, the customer experience has been great, and it’s been a huge improvement compared with what we went through with our prior privacy vendor.

I used Ketch for managing consent policies on the website and Google Tag Manager for Handshake. Ketch ensured that we are compliant across multiple regions without needing to fight technology and having one-offs/workarounds to support the same. The technical experience was clean and simple. I loved the on-page tag orchestration and setting it up in Google Tag Manager was really easy. The go-live event was smooth and seamless, and we were live in around 30 mins. Special mention to Joshua Grossman, who was our Ketch support system and guided us through our setup and journey. Joshua was phenomenal, patient, and very friendly, initiative-oriented, and was happy to jump on calls, troubleshoot and share ideas async. The documentation on Ketch was simple and straightforward.

I like the way that Ketch simplifies everything. It makes building out consent much easier to understand and create something that works. The automation of DSAR requests is also something I appreciate, as it means I don't have to do them manually. This makes things a lot easier and saves a lot of time and effort. Once you know what you're going for in terms of the actual laws that are out there and your risk tolerance, setting things up in the account is very straightforward and I appreciated how it's easy to set thing up. I also think Ketch provides good value, especially when comparing what you get versus the cost.

The organization of the different sections in the UI is definitely hard to find things, and so I use the search bar constantly. I have no idea where things are either on the left sidebar or buried in tabs, but I search for the things that I need, and I'm able to find them that way.

Sometimes not all the tags are visible when you go on the website, only a selected number are. I find this confusing.

I like that Ketch is customizable and easy to set up. They walked me through everything, making the process pretty simple and quick. I also appreciate being able to incorporate our branding so everything flows on our website. They're always responsive when I have questions or need assistance with anything.

I am struggling to get our privacy settings linked in our quick links menu in the footer instead of at the bottom of the page, but the team over at Ketch is helping me do that, so I'm sure we'll have it resolved pretty soon.

I really like the cookie/tracker mapping and the capture list. I check in on it from time to time to see which new vendors are dropping trackers.

This is a bit of a cop-out, but nothing really comes to mind. Like I said, I’m not involved in the day-to-day, so I don’t have an opinion one way or the other.

The people. 
Right from the initial calls where we discussed our requirements with Harrison and Johne, all the way up until the implementation and Go-Live stage where Anupam helped us with his insights and experience, it has been a brilliant experience. It's become very obvious to me that Ketch really cares about its customers.

In all honesty, nothing.

Working with Ketch has been very smooth. They provide support at every step, allowing us to rely on them completely to finish the platform setup. Mike Carey, our primary contact at Ketch, is knowledgeable and responsive throughout the setup process. His team is also very helpful, assisting us with everything from setting up the platform and Google Tag Manager to launching the platform.

The platform's UX/UI is overall straightforward to use. I haven't encountered any major difficulties, and if I do have questions, Mike and his team provide immediate support.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

We encountered a minor issue with the final cookie list during the platform scan; however, they usually respond quickly to help us resolve the issue.

Ketch offers a user-friendly platform along with a knowledgeable team to assist us in efficiently setting up the Consent Management Platform. The setup involves several complex elements, such as cookie scanning and definitions, as well as Google Tag Manager configuration. It was super easy to install, it didn't cause any issues to our existing production web app in contrast to previous vendors. It has a friendly UI and excellent documentation. They even provide no-code migrations from other vendors, without the need to disrupt existing customers with privacy choices already configured
Their support is agile, fast an excellent. Customer experience assigned contact is super helpful.
They have ton of integrations with other known partners, like Shopify which we also have some satellite brands, so that's tremendously helpful.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

Almost nothing. I would just enhance their documentation that is more oriented to new installations.

**What problems is Ketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ketch helps us honoring privacy consent selected by customers in the US with ease, in contrast with other vendors that even though they achieve the same, their UI is complex and difficult to understand or had disrupted our site with features like autoblocking scripts that drops cookies, that at some point even broke our checkout flow!!
It also help us with consent management in several satellite brands we have in shopify.
