Who is iWave pricing best suited for?

According to G2 reviews of iWave, the pricing of iWave is best suited for small to mid-sized nonprofit organizations. G2 reviewers from Small Business and Mid-Market segments dominate the review base, spanning industries including fund-raising, higher education, hospital and health care, and nonprofit organization management. The Starter tier suits solo researchers or small shops beginning prospect research, while the Professional tier fits growing teams needing analytics and multi-user access. iWave's Premium tier aligns with established nonprofits requiring CRM integration and high-volume screening. G2 reviewers frequently highlight iWave as ideal for one-person research shops and organizations with limited budgets seeking a comprehensive, affordable alternative to enterprise-level tools.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of iWave?

iWave does not offer a free version. According to G2's pricing data for iWave, the entry-level Starter tier begins at $4,150.00 per year and supports one user with up to 1,500 subscription screens and 750 live profiles. iWave's higher tiers unlock significantly more capacity: the Professional tier at $5,350.00 per year adds three users, 5,000 screens, scores and analytics including planned giving, and SSO. iWave's Premium tier, priced via vendor contact, expands to five users, 20,000 screens, 10,000 live profiles, CRM integration, and included Appends credits. G2 reviewers note that CRM integration and advanced analytics are key drivers for upgrading beyond the Starter tier.

Is iWave considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers overwhelmingly regard iWave as strong value for nonprofit organizations. Multiple reviewers explicitly describe iWave as more affordable than competitors like WealthEngine and Blackbaud while delivering comparable or superior results. One G2 reviewer noted it is "MUCH cheaper than WealthEngine and Blackbaud, but with the same/similar results," and another called it "far less expensive than competitors." High ratings averaging near 4.5 to 5 stars reinforce this sentiment. Some reviewers flag the per-user cost as a concern, and add-on expenses for foundation and corporate research draw occasional criticism. Overall, G2 reviews of iWave consistently indicate that the pricing of iWave delivers strong return on investment for fundraising teams.

"Exceptional Onboarding and Comprehensive Data Streamline Prospecting"
5/5
What do you like best about iWave?

I really appreciate the exceptional onboarding experience with iWave. The platform is very easy to use and they have really great customer service. I also find the data inputs incredibly comprehensive, providing accurate and up-to-date information essential for prospect building. Having all the data in one place is incredibly important, eliminating the need to manage individual subscriptions to databases like Database USA or ZoomInfo. The connection components are useful for understanding board relationships and connections, which adds significant value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly, but Salesforce Integration and Accuracy Need Major Improvements"
2/5
What do you like best about iWave?

It’s user-friendly, especially when it comes to usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iWave?

In my experience, it doesn’t integrate seamlessly with Salesforce. I’ve also found it to be less accurate than other wealth screening tools. It doesn’t really support multi-lenses in an agile, practical way, which limits how useful it is day to day. At times, when I try to pull an updated score in Salesforce, it just buffers and never actually refreshes. Overall, the ROI hasn’t felt worth the price, and the AI features seem either nonexistent or not useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
