The Material Design aesthetic that is easy to grok and select the job type that is very intuitive and follow. You can select the file type for a backup, make it schedulable or based on a system event, and automate the process. You can rest assured thet you files will be safe and secure. I had issues with the graphics in earlier versions, but the updated graphics in the latest build has brought it up to modern standards. Ivy Backup is a simple program with good performance and that does not consume memory and bandwidth. You have the option to schedule backups in the cloud. I also like that it supports file compression and encryption. The best thing is that the restoration of the files can be selective and not all the stored backup should be restored. However, it does not show any warning that this is happening. I also think that the documentation that comes with the software is not very helpful because it is very generic. It has the ability to stay in the background carrying out the backups and the procedures are carried out quickly. I find this essential software for our work. In the company where I work we needed an application that makes backup and restoration scheduled, specifically a weekly synchronization, so IvyBackup is responsible for creating backup copies of our files when you log in to the computer, working stealthily. It is an excellent tool, very easy to use from its navigation to its configuration, all this thanks to its interface is very intuitive so the learning curve is null, allows you to automate the tasks of backup, an aspect to highlight is that it provides the ability to make backups of specific files with different options to control, modify or explore your backup list, without affecting the settings for the rest of files or folders. It offers several alternatives to generate backup formats between these encryption, another very attractive feature in addition to restoring files directly from the program, increases the security and availability of your files as it stores backups on your computer as well as in the cloud, so you can access your information from anywhere through a mobile device. The tool is very comprehensive and functional, said it would be convenient to develop an update or an integration with other programs such as Gmail, Drive, Dropbox, Calendar, Contacts and Sites or other similar applications. Recommendations to others considering IvyBackup: It is worth trying it, it is very functional and provides the possibility of having stored a large amount of data either on your computer or in the cloud, so it becomes a virtual hard drive to backup all relevant information. Being part of a human resources department the amount of file we handle is considerable, from curriculum postulates, tracking sheet to contracts that despite having online management programs that facilitate our activities are vulnerable to any power failure or hacking of the server is for such reason that in order to ensure or provide greater shielding or security to the files we handle I gave the task of testing IvyBackup, I am pleasantly satisfied with its operation and eagerly awaiting the end of the trial period to formally acquire the program. This tool in the short time I have using it has surprised me because I can plan or schedule both the backups and the actions I perform with it in addition to recording all the activity in PDF format, which links a greater reliability in my work and the management of management procedures of contracts or postulates that I am processing. I used IvyBackup Home to use for my first home computer for personal business. Its so easy to use and you have access to technical support if needed (but I bet you won't!) You literally put forth no effort to schedule your backups for your files and docs. If you are a little more savvy, you can use the actions and filters to personalize the backups a little more. It definitely has a MS-DOS look to it. In a word of fancy icons and fonts galore, the look of the system takes you back a couple decades. This is for a home computer, but I ran my entire business from that computer. I backed up all my major projects and had total security in doing so. I was able to sleep at night knowing if I spilled my morning coffee on my computer in the morning, my life's work would still live on ... and it did!
