It maintains the standards of Business process notations making it accepted globally. The icons usage are simple and readily understandable for end users as well. We have IGrafx flowcharter which takes care of the mapping and System of Records Requirements whereas IGrafx Six Sigma focuses on the improvement techniques which makes it to usage more broader. **What do you dislike about iGrafx?** The cons can be it slows down sometimes and server needs refreshing very frequently. Also there can be survey to include certain additional icons for better process documentation. **Recommendations to others considering iGrafx:** Please start using it. It is very resourceful and gives good mapping results. **What problems is iGrafx solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of the cons that I have faced with mapping with IGrafx is - it slows down over a period of time and so the server capacity should be refreshed frequently to avoid the application downtimes. It is simple and easy to adapt to. Simple drag and route arrow functions. Easy to recognize icons and boxes. Simple layout and easily manageable swimlanes. **What do you dislike about iGrafx?** Lack of tutorials and guidelines when running into issues. The page margins are tricky and hard to use. Sometimes the template will print very large with excessive white space depending on how many swimlanes are being used (4 swim lanes seems to align perfectly for a standard process map but 5 swimlanes and more makes the page unnecessarily big and make the texts look small and hard to read unless zoomed in). **Recommendations to others considering iGrafx:** Always make sure the user is using the correct template. Also the page sizing and margins might be tricky. Simple tip for users is to simplify the work by reducing the amount of swimlanes as possible to keep the page standard size or figure out a way to shrink the size of the page regardless of how many swimlanes. **What problems is iGrafx solving and how is that benefiting you?** It does a splendid job for documenting processes within a business.
