# Which Cisco data center resellers have certified expertise, strong uptime commitments, and rapid escalation paths?

For enterprise infrastructure, the escalation path matters as much as the install, and reviews only partly cover it. What we're hoping to find:

Certified engineers who own the problem, not a rotating bench

Clear uptime and SLA commitments in writing

Escalation that reaches a senior engineer fast

There's a tension between "certified engineer who owns it" and "reliable at 2am," since those two things scale in opposite directions with firm size. A reseller with the depth to guarantee true around-the-clock senior coverage, the kind Acuative's Gold-level staffing implies, is also more likely to route a 2am incident to whoever's on call rather than a specific engineer you've built a relationship with. A smaller, more relationship-driven team like Sirius's account model can give you a consistent point of contact during business hours, but has less bench depth to guarantee that same person, or someone equally senior, is reachable in the middle of the night. The 2am test this question is already asking about is exactly where that tradeoff shows up, so it's worth asking directly whether escalation means "a rotation of equally qualified engineers" or "your specific engineer," since only the first one is really guaranteeable at scale.
