While Hudu has significantly matured, there are areas that could benefit from refinement. The mobile app experience is limited in terms of functionality and performance. Integration depth with some third-party PSA/RMM tools is still evolving. Role-based access controls could use more granularity for enterprise-level deployments. Additionally, the learning curve for advanced templating and custom scripting may require some initial ramp-up time for new users without prior documentation platform experience.

Hudu centralizes and standardizes our IT documentation, significantly improving operational efficiency, especially for onboarding/offboarding clients and employees. Before implementing Hudu, documentation was scattered across various platforms, leading to inconsistencies and wasted time. With Hudu, we now have a single source of truth for network diagrams, credentials, SOPs, and asset management. The platform helps enforce documentation best practices, ensures compliance with internal and external audits, and reduces our mean time to resolution (MTTR) by enabling faster knowledge access. This has directly improved team productivity, client satisfaction, and overall documentation quality.

The interface is clean and fresh, we can do our documentation in a structured way without being restricted or it being overly arduous.

We haven't got on well with using it to document procedures that we then have to follow

Lets us keep our documentation and passwords securely and with audited access by the team with no worry about potential data loss due to mistakes or malicious activity.

HUDU is a great app that we can self host. There are so many valuable API integrations and support is amazing. We love being able to create a portal for our users to reference as well with their data.

The integrations are what I love most. It works with our PSA and RMM to deliver a rich experience for each system we have under management. It was super simple to configure and their support is top tier.

I have nothing negative to say about Hudu. We love it!

The password management side for us is massive. It works great, supports OTP and is super easy to use.

- The ability to create custom objects with many different attributes, enabling you to create a documentation of almost all aspects inside and outside of the IT landscape.

- Hudu is set up in a matter of minutes. Configuring and tailoring Hudu to your company-specific need takes time and patience.

- Hudu comes with a wide variety of pre-built integrations and a comprehensive API.

- The customer service is top notch.

- Data privacy may be an issue with the cloud hosted variant since its an American company. Hudu may be forced to reveal data if forced so by the FBI oder other government agencies.

- You cant deploy your own keys to encrypt the database.

- Self hosted is the way to go for Europe based customers.

- No native MS OAuth or Graph SMTP setup.

- Keeping track of renewals

- Sharing passwords with team members and customers

- Documenting IT-Infrastructure and building an automation base

I love that TOTP can be added as well as password history!

I wish the search was a bit better. We should not have to use tags to enchanse Hudu's search. Perhaps better OCR is needed.

Operating procidure is pretty cool. We use it for onbaording clients and ensuring steps are followed when deploying specific tools.

I can set reminders for projects with my clients. I can easily refer to any procedures I have created. I can easily refer back to client information.

The ease of adding in documentation once the base set up has been done. Makes it easy for people to update or create new pieces of documentation while also keeping things standarised

The Hudu extension on Chrome and Edge is pretty hit or miss for both password and KBs. Would love to see this worked on

The mobile app seems to be a bit combersome. But mobile web works well.

The ease of use and updates that make things easier in great! It is not easy to find products that continue to improve and don't introduce changes that make the product worse to use.

I have not really cared for the browser plugin so far. The mobile app is becoming more useful though.

SOP is probably the most useful part. It is nice to be able to document and have task lists right there to use.
