Hudu allows you to customize the collection of assets and documents allowing you to easily find what is important. This helps to ensure that as you create documents for various IT processes, they can easily be found. I use the cloud version, but I'm glad they have an on-prem option incase that is something I need to change to in the future.

The use of the Magic dashboard and API is not sufficiently documented. It would be great to be able to sync certain asset layouts with custom external resources like a on-prem database.

Being able to keep documentation for all our clients in one central location and having the option to share only relevant documentation and global knowledge articles with them. The integration with various products like Microsoft 365 is also great.

Excelent application and we integrate with our RMM application to have assets documentent and updated.

We reviewed a number of different documentation systems before selecting Hudu and felt like the feature set and pricing offered was everything we needed and then some. We also liked the fact that it integrated with a number of our other applications. What surprised us and took us completely off-guard was the fact they listened to our input. Features we suggested, showed up in the next version of Hudu. In addition to this we host it ourself so it is super-fast. They are now one of our favorite vendors.

We can't really find any downsides unless you are not happy with spending this little when compared to competing products.

We now have quick access to key data so our technicians are never lost when working on someone's system. It also provides us with reminders of what is coming due and secure password access to those that need it.

Very responsive UI which is intuitive and easy to use. Has some great configurability features.

USA based so sometimes a delay when calling on support from Europe. Maybe they will expand their working hours as the company grows.

It's mainly for centralised documentation which doesn't seem to appear in the purposes above. It solves the problem we used to have where documentation on systems, processes or prcedures was either missing or locate in several places.

Far better value than other solutions we have used in the past. Easy enough to setup and highly configurable to our needs. Daily use by the majorit of our staff and minimal issues with management. Support has been fine when needed.

Would prefere to maybe have a few more recomended options/rails for initial configuration. Design/look could stand a little more moderinzation.

I wish there was more capability with customer level processes, such as being able to do them through the mobile app vs just global processes.

The biggest driver we've used hudu for is creating standard operating procedures (Hudu Processes). These serve as checklists to ensure we get things done the right way every time. We also have moved our documenation to Hudu from Sharepoint and its editor does exactly what we need it to.

There is not much that I dislike about the application. I believe it meets the basic needs to get the job done and more.

Hudu gathers all the tools I need into a simple interface to be efficient worker.

Hudu is inexpensive and easy to use. It has good support available and a user community that can assist as well. It is an independent software company that doesn't lock you into long contracts.

It could use more integrations with other software products.

Hudu gives us one location to have all our documentation, KBs, and other client info in a structured manner. It makes it easy to onboard and offboard clients as needed.

Hudu is increadly easy and intuitive to use. The ability to make custom assets allows us to document the things that matter most to us. We are able to guide users to be as thorough as we want them to be. We use it daily as it contains all of our shared information across our client base. Setting up Hudu was very easy and the documentation is spot on. On the rare occassion that I have an issue, their support is prompt and incredibly helpful.

Some of the integration syncing can be a little cumbersome.

We manage IT for dozens of customers and have a team of technicians. Without an effective documentaiton system, knowledge can't be easily shared and found. Hudu solves both of those issues. We have a secure way of storing passwords needed by our team. We are able to write knowledge base articles to help with troubleshooting common tasks. We create custom assets to ensure that our documentation is thorough and standardized. I love the new features that Hudu has released. Being able to restrict access to IPs, is a critical. I think the visual rack builder will be a game changer for our team.
