## About HubSpot Content Hub
Content Hub provides tools to create, manage, and personalize content across the entire customer journey, addressing the modern challenge of producing high-volume, multi-channel, personalized content at scale. Core Value Proposition: Content Hub addresses three critical content challenges: creating sufficient content volume to support multi-channel strategies, managing content assets and permissions across distributed teams, and personalizing content at scale. The role of content has evolved beyond just a lead generation tool– marketers need to create more content than ever before, distribute it across more channels at more points in the customer journey, and make it highly personal to the buyer. Key Capabilities: Content Creation Tools: Content Hub provides website page builders, blog editors, landing page creators, and asset management systems within a unified platform, enabling content production without switching between multiple tools. Multi-Channel Distribution: The platform enables content publishing across websites, blogs, landing pages, and email from a single content library with consistent brand management and asset reuse. Personalization at Scale: Content Hub includes dynamic content functionality that adapts page elements, messaging, and calls-to-action based on visitor attributes, behavior, and customer journey stage. This enables personalization without creating separate page versions for each audience segment. Content Management: The platform provides tools that help marketing teams coordinate content production, maintain quality standards, and measure effectiveness. Content Hub vs. Alternatives: Unlike standalone content management systems lacking marketing context, Content Hub operates on the HubSpot CRM platform, enabling content personalization based on customer data. This connection between content and customer data enables relevant experiences traditional CMS platforms cannot deliver. Content Hub eliminates the need to purchase and integrate separate tools for website management, landing pages, blog hosting, and asset storage by providing these capabilities within the HubSpot ecosystem. Who Should Use Content Hub: Content Hub serves marketing teams producing content across multiple channels and journey stages, content managers coordinating distributed content production, and organizations requiring content personalization based on customer behavior. The platform scales content operations from small marketing teams to enterprise content organizations. Outcome: With Content Hub, marketers get everything they need to create and manage personalized content experiences across the customer journey at scale, shifting from reactive content production to strategic content programs.

## HubSpot Content Hub Reviews
 ### 1. A Painful, Bloated Mess for Website Management—Avoid If You Value Your Sanity

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex S. | Senior Director of Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?**

HubSpot as a broader platform has some great tools—its CRM, marketing automation, and analytics features are genuinely valuable. If you're already deep in the HubSpot ecosystem, having everything in one place can be convenient. That said, the Content Hub specifically is the weakest link by far. It’s better than having no website at all... but just barely.

**What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?**

HubSpot Content Hub is hands down the most frustrating platform I’ve had the misfortune to use for web content. It promises ease and flexibility but delivers the opposite—painful limitations, poor UX, and bloated tech that tanks performance.

The out-of-the-box templates feel like a relic from 2010. If you want anything remotely custom or modern, you're immediately stuck needing developer support. That defeats the entire point of using what should be a user-friendly CMS.

The platform's settings and options are scattered and counterintuitive. Nothing is where you'd expect it to be, and simple tasks like layout adjustments or basic styling often involve painful workarounds. Worse still, even when you do configure everything correctly, you're rewarded with sluggish load times and poor performance metrics. The bloat is real, and it hurts both SEO and user experience.

Even HubSpot’s native modules and "smart content" feel like half-baked afterthoughts—lacking in both depth and polish. For a platform trying to position itself as enterprise-ready, it delivers a shockingly immature and restrictive content experience.

Bottom line: There are countless better platforms out there—don’t waste your time (or budget) on HubSpot Content Hub unless you’re okay with constantly wrestling a clunky, inflexible, and underpowered system.

**What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In theory, HubSpot Content Hub is meant to solve the problem of managing website content alongside your CRM and marketing tools in one integrated platform. The idea is appealing: centralized data, unified tools, and streamlined workflows.

In practice, however, the Content Hub creates more problems than it solves. Its lack of flexibility, poor performance, and reliance on developers for even basic customization severely limits any real benefit. While it technically lets us publish content and integrate it with HubSpot’s broader ecosystem, the friction it adds to the process makes it hard to justify.

**Official Response from Jennifer Leventin:**

> Hi Alex,

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience with Content Hub has been frustrating and has not delivered the ease and flexibility you expected. We understand how important it is for a CMS to feel intuitive, performant, and empowering—especially when it comes to customization and content management.

Your perspective is valuable, and we would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about where the platform fell short for you. If you are open to sharing further, please reach out at customer-reviews@hubspot.com. Your input helps us improve.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nino F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?**

As the leader of a team of non-creatives, content hub allows us the ability to quickly and easily create good looking landing pages that convert. The tracking is also extremely robust, giving me the data I need to present to the executive level. The ease of the user interface makes adding forms, videos, and other modules extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?**

My only complaint is that some of the marketplace add ons are glitchy. For example, the vidyard plug in doesn’t shoe for theme adjustment, but it also doesn’t display correctly so I’m left to use the embed code instead of the plug in.

**What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to create landing pages and Web pages without the need for a coding expert

 ### 9. Awesome websites without the tech headaches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe R. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2025

**What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?**

I was able to create a fantastic website by myself using Content Hub and the Clean theme (from the marketplace).

I love that it’s drag and drop unless I want to go in and edit html. It’s the best of both worlds.

I have not worried about updating plugins like I did in WordPress and the security is airtight.

Plus it all integrate seamlessly with the rest of HubSpot so we can create smart content. Once we know someone’s persona, we can tailor the content to their needs and intestests.

**What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?**

Sometimes I have trouble getting videos to lay out exactly as I want.

**What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy website and landing page creation, and seamless data collection

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?**

Being able to see what is being posted when on accounts all across social media. When you go to select date the feature that shows something else is already being posted then.

**What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?**

It could be super helpful to have the dot on the calendar when something is scheduled on LinkedIn. There are times I have to schedule something through LinkedIn like a repost, a poll, a carousel, etc and it could be nice to see when those are scheduled on that same calendar

**What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think the new ai feature for social planning will be helpful. Haven’t had a full chance to start using it yet but I think there will be benefits there.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco L.

I appreciate HubSpot Content Hub for its ease of use and straightforward setup process. The tool enables our team to centralize content and connect with other HubSpot parts, enhancing our ability to quickly transition from ideation to marketing. Additionally, the AI feature significantly aids decision-making, allowing us to efficiently manage content-driven campaigns.

I find that the customization options in HubSpot Content Hub are somewhat limited for our specific needs. While the platform is progressing, more tailored customization features would enhance its usefulness significantly.

**What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the product to manage content, streamline ideation, and accelerate marketing, benefiting from centralized data and AI to make executive, informed decisions faster.

 ### 14. Easy Drag and Drop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2025

**What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?**

I love that I don’t need to use HTML and CSS. Those options are available but not necessary. I can drag and drop modules and easily edit after publish.

**What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?**

Small complaint that re-publishing a page can take 5-10 minutes to show the updated content.

Separately, and this is almost definitely due to the templates we’re using, but the templates can be stiff and inflexible. Like you HAVE to have a form on the right column and can’t remove. But this can be solved by using a different template.

**What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m able to create a landing page within a few hours. Quicker if I already know the copy and content ahead of time. It’s easy to send previews to my team before publishing the page, as well as sending previews of an updated page before re-publishing with changes. Quick turnaround for our lead generation efforts.

 ### 15. The content hub is worth the hype

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

Having one platform to build, store blogs and content means my team spends less time juggling different tools.

**What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?**

Scaling up can lead to higher costs. There is a bit of a learning curve for new employers but nothing too difficult that we can not train them up on.

**What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating and then storing content for our sales employees to use at all times.

 ### 16. A seamless all-in-one platform for managing and scaling content marketing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?**

HubSpot Content Hub makes it incredibly easy to plan, create, and publish content in a structured and efficient way. I especially appreciate having everything in one place – from blogging tools and SEO recommendations to social media integrations. The analytics and reporting features are very intuitive and help us understand what’s performing well. For any team working with inbound marketing, this is a game changer.

**What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?**

Some features feel somewhat limited unless you upgrade to a more expensive plan. Also, the interface can be a bit overwhelming at first for new users – there's definitely a learning curve. I would also like to see more flexibility in the blog and landing page editor when it comes to customizing templates.

**What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using HubSpot Content Hub, our content processes were scattered across multiple platforms, which made it hard to maintain consistency and measure performance effectively. HubSpot has helped us centralize everything — from content planning and creation to publishing and tracking — in one place. This has significantly improved our team's productivity, shortened content production cycles, and allowed us to better align content with lead generation and sales goals.

 ### 17. Absolutely Delicious Content Creation – HubSpot Content Hub is a Treat! 🍰

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?**

Using HubSpot’s Content Hub feels like biting into the richest, most decadent slice of cake.

The good stuff (aka the frosting):

Beautiful, user-friendly interface

AI-assisted content creation that speeds up workflows

Smart content features and personalization baked right in

Seamless integration with CRM, email, and social tools

Centralized calendar and content planning = chef’s kiss

**What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?**

A few crumbs to improve:

Would love more flexibility with custom layouts without needing a developer

Sometimes version control or tracking changes across team members could be smoother

The AI tools are great , but a bit more transparency on where the suggestions come from would help with trust and accuracy

**What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest problems is the fragmentation of tools. many companies rely on separate platforms for blogging, landing pages, email, and social media, which creates inefficiencies and disjointed experiences. HubSpot solves this by centralising everything into one platform, streamlining workflows and ensuring consistency across all channels.

**Official Response from Jennifer Leventin:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad to hear you are finding value in the AI tools, and we appreciate your thoughtful suggestions around layout flexibility, version control, and transparency. Whether something felt harder than it should have been or simply did not meet your needs, we would love to learn more. If you are open to sharing, please reach out at customerreviews@hubspot.com. Your input helps us improve.

The Content Hub has helped us not only personalize our content, but make it personal. We’re now able to know what content is needed at every step along the way so our customers understand the value of our services. And even better, it’s all done with our brand voice locked in.

**What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?**

We have some trouble with the content hub communicating with our website but that issue is largely out of HubSpot’s control.

**What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us develop funnel-feeding content and that’s scalable.

 ### 28. Powerful CRM system that elevates our collaboration to a new level

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?**

We have not had any other CRM system in the company so far, so I can't really compare it with other providers, but HubSpot has significantly improved collaboration within our company. Processes, tasks, data, and AI analyses – we finally have insight into our company's performance.

**What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?**

Unfortunately, the websites and design templates are quite inflexible and difficult to edit. Anyone who values design, creativity, and flexibility will not be satisfied with them.

**What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Content Hub to manage our blog and social media. The AI image generation is still somewhat lacking, but HubSpot has made significant improvements here.

 ### 29. Great tool for our team!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Margaux B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2025

**What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?**

I’ve found HubSpot’s Content Hub really useful for keeping all my content in one place—blogs, emails, and social posts. The AI tools and SEO insights make it easier to create and optimize content, and the analytics help me see what’s actually working. It can feel like a lot at first, but once you get the hang of it, it really streamlines the process.

**What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?**

Customization can sometimes feel limited compared to more specialized platforms.

**What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us stay organized

 ### 30. The DXP that just works.

**Reviewed by:** Amy B. | VP of Digital Experience - Practice Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?**

Content Hub and the CMS platform is exceptional. Robust form building. Workflow and automation. Segmentation and contact-level profiles. All of that baked into a seamless web experience.

 ### 31. I've found HubSpot's Content Hub to be pretty user friendly for our limited use

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?**

We only really use the landing page feature. The drag-and-drop interface of the landing page builder makes it pretty easy to quickly build landing pages for our events, gated resources, and resource sharing. I love that we can adjust the layout for mobile.

**What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?**

Landing page templates can only be created with the design manager, which causes a problem from a branding perspective. Our brand evolves continuously, and any time we want to make even the smallest change to one of our templates, we have to get help from a 3rd party vendor to tweak the code or learn how to use the design manager ourselves and hope we don't accidentally break anything...

**What problems is HubSpot Content Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Despite its limitations when it comes to creating landing page templates, HubSpot's Content Hub has made it significantly easier for us to create landing pages for our various marketing initiatives quickly.

**Official Response from Jennifer Leventin:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the process for updating landing page templates through the design manager has been challenging, especially as your brand continues to evolve. Whether something felt harder than it should have been or simply did not meet your needs, we would love to learn more. If you are open to sharing, please reach out at customerreviews@hubspot.com. Your input helps us improve.
