## About HOOPS Communicator
HOOPS Communicator is the toolkit for developing web or cloud based engineering applications. Some example partner applications include Aras Innovator, mySolidworks, Assemble Systems, and GrabCAD Workbench. Communicator brings your engineering data to life in all major browsers on desktop and mobile with no plugins required. At its core is a high performance graphics kernel capable of streaming massive models to your browser. Other capabilities range from simple modular file loading to server side rendering to support even mobile devices with modest hardware resources. It's supplied out of the box with engineering operators, including measurement tools, view management, data interrogation, and redline capabilities. It includes the Communicator Web Viewer, a powerful viewing SDK which is customizable to your user interface and workflow. HOOPS Communicator supports workflows ranging from Additive, PLM, ERP, CAD, CAE ,BIM and more. You can author your models directly, or convert existing CAD or BIM files. You can also export images, CAD standard file formats, and even 3D PDFs.

**What do you like best about HOOPS Communicator?**

It makes 3D web graphic designing work way easier than other software. With its Java-powered API, one can easily add 2D-3D interaction functionality to web-based applications, also with high-performance graphics.

**What do you dislike about HOOPS Communicator?**

Before HOOPS Communicator, accurate data import was not that easy, and the great work done by it in 3D web graphic designing is commendable, so considering all points, there are things to appreciate, not to dislike.

**What problems is HOOPS Communicator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whether for 3D visualization or graphic design for the web, it makes a lot of work easier than others. It also supports all major browsers, so you can easily add 2D-3D interaction functionality to web-based applications.
