HOOPS Communicator is the toolkit for developing web or cloud based engineering applications. Some example partner applications include Aras Innovator, mySolidworks, Assemble Systems, and GrabCAD Workbench. Communicator brings your engineering data to life in all major browsers on desktop and mobile with no plugins required. At its core is a high performance graphics kernel capable of streaming massive models to your browser. Other capabilities range from simple modular file loading to server side rendering to support even mobile devices with modest hardware resources. It's supplied out of the box with engineering operators, including measurement tools, view management, data interrogation, and redline capabilities. It includes the Communicator Web Viewer, a powerful viewing SDK which is customizable to your user interface and workflow. HOOPS Communicator supports workflows ranging from Additive, PLM, ERP, CAD, CAE ,BIM and more. You can author your models directly, or convert existing CAD or BIM files. You can also export images, CAD standard file formats, and even 3D PDFs.
