**What do you like best about HeySam?**

We've been using HeySam across our Account Management workflows and it’s become a go-to tool for sales intelligence, product support, and call insights. It saves a ton of time and helps our team stay sharp without interuppting customer calls looking for answers.

What I like best:

The Slack integration and conversational AI are super intuitive, I can ask HeySam questions directly and get fast, accurate answers without switching tools.

Call summaries and sizzle reels make debriefs easy and keep the team aligned.

It’s a cost-effective alternative to traditional call intelligence tools, especially for startups and mid-sized teams.

How it’s helped us:

Empowers reps to self-serve product knowledge and answer technical questions confidently.

Overall, HeySam increases efficiency and drives better team performance, a valuable tool for any GTM org looking to streamline sales processes.

**What do you dislike about HeySam?**

Nothing that I can think of! HeySam has been great!

**What problems is HeySam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our product has way too many modules, and it’s nearly impossible to train a rep to know everything, especially since we build so fast. HeySam makes it easy to find the right answer naturally while on a call, without having to dig around or wait to ask someone.

**What do you like best about HeySam?**

I like the ability to set up prompts that help guide coaching and development, focusing on the areas that will have the greatest impact on the reps.

**What do you dislike about HeySam?**

I don’t have any major issues or dislikes, and the team has been very responsive whenever something has come up.

**What problems is HeySam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve used Chorus for nearly 10 years, and it was truly groundbreaking at the time. That said, I haven’t seen any significant development to the platform over the last several years. Before working with Hey Sam, I was copying transcripts from Chorus into GPT to look for patterns that could help guide rep training. Hey Sam is the combination I’d been looking for. Recording each call builds a library of content, but with other tools you still have to listen to each call to get value from it. Hey Sam lets me actually use that library and quickly identify meetings that may require my attention. I’ve also set up daily prompts so it proactively sends me a detailed breakdown of calls.

**What do you like best about HeySam?**

I use HeySam across multiple avenues, whether it's Slack, the web app, or using it in RFPs. It's super helpful to me to be able to find answers quickly and efficiently while getting the sources cited. Not only that, but the RFP filler tool is by far my favorite RFP tool I've used. I've used others like Loopio and similar, which feel clunky and claustrophobic. But HeySam let's you work in Google Sheets directly and does it quickly and easily. It's a super simple interface, but let's me fill out an RFP sheet in minutes. It just saves me sooo much time.

**What do you dislike about HeySam?**

I think overall HeySam does a great job. I would say it can get confusing when you have multiple products, but we've solved that by creating multiple channels with knowledge specific to each product as well as being able to select a drop down when filling out an RFP. But there's some nuance when it comes to selling multiple products together and having to fill out an RFP, but more of a nitpicky thing than anything else.

**What problems is HeySam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that HeySam solves for me is that it helps me be a better SC when it comes to having multiple products that I have to be knowledgeable on. So it gives me quick access to all that knowledge if I need it and it saves me a ton of time when it comes to filling out RFPs which have been the bane of my existence. Now my RFPs take me a tenth of the time that they used to take, letting me work on more value-add activities.

**What do you like best about HeySam?**

It doesn't just help me save time, it helps me do my job. I got it when I was the only Solutions Engineer at my company. I had a lot of RFPs, and it helped get through first passes. Before it, I had to do all of those myself, which is a lot of hard work. 

Now I just run Sam as a first go and then just review! 

The team is also very helpful and responsive, which is excellent.

**What do you dislike about HeySam?**

The one thing to call out is that the web app is still being beefed up, so you have to go to the team for certain things. They're quick and helpful, so it's definitely not a big thing.

**What problems is HeySam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making me be able to support more AEs with just me!

**What do you like best about HeySam?**

I primarily use the call recording feature and have found it to be both more accurate and intuitive than tools from larger companies in the space. The call summary and short reels that are generated after calls are especially useful. We've pushed HeySam to the limit with some lengthy (3-4 hr) calls and have had no issues with data retention. HeySam does a great job of learning about deals from multiple data sources (calls, slack, etc.). 

The HeySam team has been great to work with. They're passionate about their product and are rapidly iterating with new features that are genuinely useful.

**What do you dislike about HeySam?**

No downsides to report so far, we're excited to see what features the team adds in the future.

**What problems is HeySam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HeySam promotes knowledge sharing across our GTM org. HeySam helps keeps opportunities organized and on track.

Slack integration makes it super easy to find calls and reference specific topics within calls. Sizzle real is great for sharing key moments internally, and the transcripts are super accurate.

Ease of tagging a customer/deal to a call with multiple email domains.

Video recordings, call summaries and easy reference to any detail within a call.

**What do you like best about HeySam?**

Meeting notetakers like Otter and Fathom tend to be too basic for sales use cases. Gong is very expensive for startups. Sam strikes the right balance of capabilities and cost.
I love the video summaries it generates; lets me get a sense of a call without having to read transcripts or summaries

**What do you dislike about HeySam?**

Sam does this thing where it finds you linkedin profiles for people you’re meeting. I’d say 10% of the times it doesn’t the profile right and there isn’t a way to fix the profile. Minor inconvenience.

**What problems is HeySam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales call intelligence. Gives me and my cofounder visibility on calls without having to be on every call

**What do you like best about HeySam?**

The speed of the UI and the reference to where it sourced the information from. The support during our trial and ongoing has been amazing too. Lots of features rolled out to cover many areas including bulk completing RFIs

**What do you dislike about HeySam?**

It can some time be too optimistic with its response and may be better to side with caution however it can usually be referenced to a vague response to a question that it took the information from. Important to provide it with accurate information only.

**What problems is HeySam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of asking colleagues questions on slack, can ask HeySam instead and get instant response

I really like the way it generates a sizzle reel for each sales call I can share with customers. Makes my follow up stand out. Plus, the way they let me edit the reel by just treating the transcript like a Google Doc is very impressive

Would really love to see them support desktop recording

**What do you like best about HeySam?**

The Slack interface is pretty straightforward. The best thing though is the ease with which we were able to train it. Took a few hours on our part to share data.

**What do you dislike about HeySam?**

No complaints so far. It's been smooth sailing.

Reps need to learn the product. Sam gives reps the ability to self-serve their own education and customer questions.

**What do you like best about HeySam?**

Love the way it constantly retrains off Gong calls. Without this capability, any Slackbot would get stale as AI is only as good as the data you feed it. The Slackbot interface is very intuitive to use.   I also like how we can give it corrections to learn directly in Slack

**What do you dislike about HeySam?**

Not much to dislike in the product. Does the job well.

**What problems is HeySam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We sell a developer product. Reps & CSMs need technical help. Our SEs are slammed. Needed a way to help reps & CSMs self-serve
